> PRE-SEASON 3 <

Everything has gone back to normal, pretty much. Mom is getting better about Bob's death, Nancy and Jonathan being together, Lucas and Max, Mike and El together also, the new Mall opening, Nancy and Jonathan getting a job at 'Hawkins Post', and that Steve and I are a lot closer than we were at first. He has changed a lot ever since I first met him, and in a good way.

A little before he graduated, he sent in his request to his favorite tech school and got rejected, and his dad was angry. So as Steve's punishment, his dad got him a job at the new Starcourt mall. The job was an ice cream parlor 'Scoops Ahoy', where the workers wear sailor uniforms and say 'Ahoy' a lot. Steve hated the idea, but his dad forced him to work there, and I thought it was kinda cute. Steve told me about how I needed a summer job so I wouldn't sit around all day. So, he gave me an application form for 'Scoops Ahoy'. I declined it at first, but he kept insisting and I finally gave in. So now, I have to get up early in the morning and change into a sailor suit. Great..

> FRIDAY. JUNE 28th <

I woke up to the sound of my alarm going off. I hated waking up early. I got up, showered and changed into my sailor suit. I waited for Steve to show up, and he finally did. I told everyone in the house goodbye. I walked out and grabbed my sailor hat on the coat rack and walked out to his car. I hopped in the passenger seat. "You look nice." He said to me.

"Just drive, Harrington. We don't need to be late."

"Yes ma'am." He responded as he drove off.

"Hey, are you still covering for me tomorrow?" I asked him.

"Yeah? That's like the fifth time you've asked me this week."

"Well, I just wanna make sure you haven't forgotten." I said, smiling at him as he rolled his eyes. We continued talking as we arrived in the parking lot. We both hopped out of the car and walked to the ice cream parlor to open up. We met up with Robin at the entrance and we walked together. We opened the parlor and we got to work. We worked and worked. Erica showed up about ten to fifteen times, asking for free samples. Of course, I gave into her needs because she terrifies me. We worked until the sun set. Randomly, while I was scooping me an ice cream cone, I heard the bell ringing. I looked up and saw Mike, Max, Lucas, and Will.

"Hey, dinguses, your children are here." Robin said at the cash register. Steve has been letting them sneak in the back to go to the theatre to watch movies for free. Steve opened the window from the back and sighed.

"Again? Seriously?" He asked as Mike rang the bell again. As Steve called them to the back, I continued scooping. Robin looked at me.

"You gonna pay for that?" She asked me.

"You gonna pay for all the cherries you've eaten?" I said, then smiled, eating my ice cream. I quickly ate my ice cream and survived my brain freeze and went back to work. While I was scooping some ice cream with Steve for a customer he totally hasn't flirted with, the power went out.

"That's weird." Steve said as he walked over to the light switch and flipped it on and off repetitively.

"That's not gonna work." I responded.

"Yeah, dingus." Robin agreed with me.

"Oh, really?" He asked us as he continued. I scoffed at him as I propped myself on the counter. Almost a minute later, the lights came back on and I looked over to Steve.
