"Wh-what are you doing?!"
"Hold on!" I shouted as I rammed into the side of Billy's car. As the car stopped, I took a deep breath and looked at Steve who looked terrified. "You okay, Steve?"
"Besides everything, yeah. I'm okay." Steve answered as we heard screeching coming from the mall. We stood up and saw the Mind Flayer climbing on top of the mall.
"Holy shit." I looked over when I heard a car honking. It was Nancy.
"Get in!" Nancy shouted as Steve and I ran and hopped in the back of her car. Steve shut the back and we drove off with Mind Flayer on our trail. As we were driving, we heard a girl talking on our walkie.
"Dusty-bun, you copy?" The voice asked.
"I copy, Suzie-poo." Dustin said on the radio. "It sounds much better now, thanks."
"Holy shit, that's Suzie." I said to Steve.
"Okay, so, listen, do you know Planck's constant?"
"Do you know the Earth orbits the sun?" Suzie asked.
"Okay, so I know it starts with two sixes, and then a.. W-what is it?"
"Okay, let me just be clear on this. I haven't heard from you in a week, and now you want a mathematical equation that you should know so you can.. save the world?"
"Suzie-poo, I promise, I will make it up to you as soon as possible."
"You can make it up to me now."
"What?"
"I want to hear it."
"Not right now."
"Yes, now, Dusty-bun."
"Suzie-poo, this is urgent."
"Yes, yes, you're saving the world, I heard you the first time, but Ged is also saving Earthsea and he's about to confront the shadow, so this is Suzie, signing off."
"Wait, wait, wait! Okay. Okay."
It went silent for a moment.
"Turn around
Look at what you see~
In her face
The mirror of your dreams"
A smile grew on my face as I looked at Steve who just looked confused. Then, Suzie and Dustin started to sing in sync.
"Make believe I'm everywhere
Given in the light
