"Hey, Nance!" The guy said in the car. "Can't wait to see your movie." He drove past as we looked at each other, confused.

"What the hell was that?" I asked them.

"I don't know." She answered. I started to think, "Movie? The theatre?" I turned around to look at the theatre, and so did Nancy.

"What?" Jonathan asked us. Nancy and I started to speed walk to the theatre, and Jonathan soon followed. I was ahead of her. We crossed the crosswalk to the theatre and that's when we saw, "ALL THE RIGHT MOVIES STARRING NANCY  THE  SLUT WHEELER" on the theatre title. My blood started to boil. I was going to find out who wrote that and punch them square in the face. I looked over to Nancy to see her look like she was about to cry. That's when I heard Tommy laughing. I stormed over to the horrific sound and Nancy followed.

"Tommy. You write like a three-year-old." Carol told Tommy. They continued their conversation as I ran over to them.

"Aw, hey there, princess!" She told Nancy behind me.

Tommy responded, "Uh-oh! She looks upset." Nancy stood in front of Steve while I made my way by Carol.

"I've been wanting to do this for a while." I said to him, smiling, as I punched Tommy square in the face. "Don't you ever slut shame her, or anyone else for that matter." He pressed himself onto the wall behind him. I heard Carol yelling at me from behind. I stood there staring at him. "You gonna punch me? Or are you just a pussy?" He looked at me.

"I don't punch girls." He told me as he wiped the blood under his nose.

"That's too bad then, huh?" I said as I made my way next to Nancy. She then slapped Steve.

"What is wrong with you?" She asked the douchebag Steve.

"What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you? I was worried about you. I can't believe that I was actually worried about you." He told her.

"What are you talking about?" Nancy asked him.

"I wouldn't lie if I were you." Carol told her. "You don't want to be known as the lying slut now, do you?" She said as Jonathan made his way closer to the action.

Tommy blurted out, "Speak of the devil."

"You came by last night?" Nancy asked Steve. "Look, I don't know what you think you saw, but it wasn't like that."

"What?" Steve started, "You just let him into your room to.. study?" I could tell Tommy wanted to say something else, but he didn't.

"We were just-" Nancy defended herself.

"You were just what?" Steve interrupted. "Finish that sentence. Finish the sentence." He told her as she stood there. "Go to hell, Nancy." My anger erupted and I stepped up and punched Steve, like Tommy, square in the nose. He stepped back as I stared at him.

Jonathan grabbed us by the shoulder and said, "Come on, let's just leave."

"You know what, Byers?" Steve started as he walked closer to us, trying to walk away from him. "I'm actually kind of impressed. I always took you for a queer, but I guess you're just a little screw-up like your father. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that house is full of screw-ups." He kept going. I felt my fist tighten. "You know, I guess I shouldn't really be surprised. A bunch of screw-ups in your family."
Nancy tried to stop Steve from talking. "I mean, your mom.. I'm not even surprised what happened to your brother. I'm sorry I have to be the one to tell you, but the Byers, their family, it's a dis-" Steve said as I turned around with all my might and punched him as hard as I could in the nose, again. My knuckle felt like it was of fire, but I didn't care. He stumbled back and looked at me with a surprised expression.
Then Jonathan turned around and punched him. Steve tripped and used a block air conditioner for support. Steve looked at him and ran after him and tackled him into a car. Everyone was yelling. Nancy was yelling for them to stop, Tommy was yelling at Steve to beat his ass, and I was yelling for Jonathan to beat that douche's ass. Jonathan landed a good punch on him and that's when Tommy blocked him from doing anything else, but Steve pushed him out of the way. Steve landed a good hit on Jonathan but Jonathan returned it back to him. He punched him one last time and Steve fell to the ground. Jonathan started punching him on the ground. That's when we heard police sirens. I finally decided to step in and to try to drag Jonathan off of him. The police officer came up from behind us and pulled Jonathan off. The one with Jonathan pushed him against the car and cuffed him, and the other chased after Steve and the others. I just stood back with Nancy. They took him in and brought us with him. We arrived to the police station and they sat him at one of the desks, still cuffed. Nancy left to go get some ice for us. I looked over to Jonathan.

"I didn't know you could fight." I told him. He chuckled.

"I didn't know you could punch." He said, looking at me. I looked at my knuckles.

"I didn't know either." I told him as Nancy walked back into the room with two make-shift ice packs. She handed me one as she sat down in between us. I put the packet onto my knuckle as Nancy put the other packet onto his head. They started chatting like the future lovebirds they are.
