'The best thing about the worst time of your life is that you get to see the 'True Colours' of everyone who said they cared for you.'
- QuotesJournal - Mark Chatley. (Not sure if that's who wrote this but it's who is on the quote so I'm going with it. If I'm wrong I apologise).

Arthit often wondered how someone's life could work out the way it does. How somethings could change so dramatically in some cases while not in others. How the world, the universe and everything in between works in such mysterious ways.

Firstly; of how his own life had turned out. The death of his parents. The closing of the store. His relationship with Frank, the beginning and the ending.

Secondly; of how every year, just after the wet season was coming to an end and very early every morning, there's a loud hooting noise coming from outside his bedroom window. A big, brown and blue bird, called a Coucal, that he was sure liked to sit right under his windowsill and throw out it's very loud obnoxious hoots. When Frank had still been living with him, Frank had been the one to shoo it away.

Now, his mornings consisted of him scrambling out of bed, almost knocking two very sleepy cats onto the floor and half asleep himself going straight to the window, to shout out for the aforementioned bird to go away before slowly making his way back to bed, flopping down and cursing the universe.

And thirdly; Kongpob Suthiluck. The devil in designer clothing. The enigma.

The guy who confuses him.

He was meeting him again today and he wasn't quite sure what he was feeling. He was meeting the guy who had literally turned his world upside-down and he didn't know what he was feeling.

Arthit had walked away from the cafe yesterday, from Kongpob, thinking that he had just had one of the most bizarre meetings with a guy who he had originally thought was incredibly conceited and arrogant but he finds out instead, from only the couple of hours he had been sat with him, that Kongpob Suthiluck might not be as bad as he first thought although the 'bottom-dweller' was still far too cocky for his own good.

But as they had talked and time had past, Kong had seemed lost. As if he was fighting with his own thoughts and at times seemed resentful any time Arthit had mentioned BK152. Reverting to cracking childish jokes about the guy. It had almost seemed like jealousy. But that was ridiculous.

"So your seeing him again? I thought we didn't like this guy?."

The night before he had been inside Bright's and Tutah's new drinks Bar with the gang. It was their opening night and he was there with the rest to celebrate.

From the outside the building was red bricked with a large wide window and an even larger lit up sign that stretched the full length of the front. It was decorated in all the colours of the rainbow with the words 'True Colours' in large white, cursive lettering written along the bottom. The large dark wooden doors were wide open with people entering or exiting dressed in outfits that depicted a good night out. Some dressed in Pride colours.

Inside was warmly lit and welcoming. A wooden bar ran the length of one wall at the far end with a sign above it reading 'WELCOME TO OPENING NIGHT' and 'LET YOUR TRUE COLOURS SHINE THROUGH' and under that 'EVERYONE WELCOME'. All in multi-coloured strobe lights. There were all different flags hung up around the bar, from all different countries and nationalities especially the Pride flag.
Spread across one wall was a multitude of photographs and pictures. Each one consisting of one or more people smiling back at the camera lens. Some even had Bright or Tutah stood with them. Above it, in glittery letterings was written, 'LGBTQIA+ WHOEVER OR WHATEVER YOU ARE 'WALL OF FAME' '. At the top left and right corners were large cut out pictures of Bright and Tutah's faces, each one decorated with glitter and with giant grins.
