Hi readers,
Nope your not dreaming,
Enjoy!

Kongpob walks into the lobby of LEO Gadgets Industries, saying hi to the receptionist as he heads towards the lifts. A group of women, passing by, bow and smile at him, swooning as he smiles back. He carries on into the lift, pressing the button for his father's office and watching as the doors close. As the lift ascends, his mind thinks back to the message this morning and a smile spreads across his face. He can't wait until he gets another message. 'Gadgetboy' always seems to make his day shine.

The opening lift doors pulls his mind back into the here and now and stepping out he makes his way down the long carpeted path, past a number of desks until his father's main receptionist comes into view. As he approaches the desk, he smiles charmingly at the short, pretty woman, getting a shy smile in return.

"Is he in?"

She fumbles with some papers before nodding, already reaching out for the phone to announce him, but looks up suddenly when Kong's hand lands on hers.

"No need to do that, he knows I'm coming"

He winks at her as he walks up to the double doors, knocking before walking in.

A large room greats him as he walks in. Decorated in brown and cream colours and dark wooden floors. A leaf patterned, grey mole hair couch, with a matching armchair, sits facing a small coffee table at one end while a large mahogany corner desk, with two metal framed chairs with cream fabric seats and backs, sits at the other. A number of windows runs along the whole side and back walls showing a very impressive view of Bangkok.

Two pairs of eyes look up at him when he enters. One belonging to his father, Kerkkrai Suthiluck, a tall man in his early fifties with dark slightly greying, hair and dark eyes, who is sat behind the desk at the far end. The other pair belonging to his grandfather, Schuyler Suthiluck, sitting in one of the chairs facing his father. Receding grey hair and hazel eyes in a wrinkly face. He was coming up to his seventy fifth birthday but he was still very young at heart. They both nod at Kongpob as he enters and approaches  the desk, greating them both before shaking hands and getting pulled into a hug by each of the two older men.

Pulling away Kongpob goes and stands near one of the large expand of windows and peering out into Bangkok. It was coming up to the late afternoon so the sky was just turning red. A slight red glow creeping over the tops of the other skyscrapers or tall buildings.

"It looks like the Construction to the new place is being completed on time, " Kong says, watching the many ant sized people go about their own business on the pavement below. " It should open on time too. "

His father moves around some paperwork on his desk. Pushing a pair of black rimmed glasses back up his nose when they slip down slightly.

"That's good news."

"Although, Me and Pete are more concerned about the neighbourhood response. "Kong moves over to the couch, sitting down and feeling the fabric. " So, what's this fabric on the couch, does have a name? "

"Money, it's called money."

Kong looks over at the two older men for a moment. Waiting for the ' nah! just kidding 'but it doesn't come.

"Gillian, selected it." He roll of his eyes. It's more of a statement so he knows the answer even before his father answers.

" Good guess. "

That explains it. Gillian Quinn was his father's girlfriend. She fancied herself quite the sculpture expert and a bit of an artist but honesty isn't very good at it. She was the daughter of a British businessman who was a fellow partner of his father. They met during a business dinner, his father getting swept off his feet by this five foot, red headed bueaty. Kong knows it's all to do with his father's money. Has known that since he first met the woman but his father is in love with her. So what can he do? He flops back down and tries to get comfortable but it's one of the most uncomfortable couches he's been on.
