'Splish, splash, I was takin' a bath
all along a Saturday night,yeah!
A rub dub, just relaxing in the tub
thinkin' everything was all right,
Well, I stepped out of the tub
put my feet on the floor,
I wrapped the towel around me
And I opened the door,
And then a - splish, splash
I jumped back in the bath,
Well, how was I to know there was a party goin' on.
                    Splish splash - Bobby Darin

The early morning had started out cold but bright. It had rained a lot the night before so the ground was still damp. Large, shallow puddles had gathered on the pavements and roads, sending out splashes of water every time a vehicle would drive by or a pedestrian would walk through one. Still, that hadn't stopped a large crowd of shoppers that were lined up along Khao San Road.

Inside Leo Gadgets Superstore, Kongpob was stood with Pete by one of the large upstairs widows, both wearing fitted suits. Kong in a black jacket, black trousers and a crisp white shirt. Pete in all midnight blue. They we're sipping on streaming cups of coffee out of mugs while they looked down at the large queue that seemed to be growing.

It had been a week since the first day of the grand opening for the new store. Large metal shutters we're once again poised to open and the banners we're still up offering a 35% off all purchases.

Kong had been in a really good mood for the last week. He's not sure why though. Maybe it had something to do with his dreams lately. Ever since Pan's and Day's visit, his dreams had been invaded with a pair of dark brown eyes and a bright smile that he didn't believe belonged to his girlfriend.

From the corner of his eye he can see Pete watching him.

"Ready to go and meet the oldies?" Pete asks, checking the time on his phone and nudging him gently.

Kong stares out the window."Don't let them hear you say that. Your still dispensable remember."

"Nonsense. Your Pa and  *Khun pu  both love me. " Pete says, grinning.

Pete takes his last few dregs of coffee before placing it onto a small table next to the window. The sky outside is still blue. Rays of sunlight shining through the window reflecting onto Kong as he blows on the steam that drifts up from his own drink, starring down at the people below.

"I think your confusing love with an act of kindness, dude." Kong jokes, chuckling.

"I don't know what you mean? " Pete smirks, "I'm your Pa's honourable son."

Kong takes a sip "So, that's why I could never get rid of you. I knew their was some sort of conspiracy going on."

"Come on, Kong." Pete laughs, as he puts his arm over his friends shoulder. " You would miss me if I ever went anywhere. "

Kong nods. "That's true but I think I would miss your coffee more. Great Cappuccino by the way." He toasts Pete.

"That hurts, mate. "Pete grins, placing a hand over his heart and pretending to be hurt. "Cuts deep to the core."

He makes his way towards the door, Kong following after a moment cradling his drink, smiling to himself.

They reach the ground floor, there's not much light but Kongpob can still spot his father and grandfather stood near the front doors. His father dressed in a suit the same as Kong's while his grandfather is all in grey. A member of staff stands nearby as his father looks over a bit of paperwork, each staff member dressed in dark blue t-shirts and black trousers. As Kong and Pete approach, his father nods at the guy before handing over what he's been looking at. The guy bows and stands to one side as  Suthiluck turns to his son and friend , giving both young men a Wai.
