The end of the year was approaching so I did what any sane witch would do when she suspects something horrible is happening to one of her snakes. I got a portkey from my parents for Blaise that will bring him safely to our home if he needs it. So with it in hand I pulled Blaise into an alcove for privacy.
"Ooh finally ready to get a little fresh with me my Queen?" Blaise asked.
"Not today my dear. No, I have a present for you. This is a portkey that will safely bring you to my home if you need to escape. I won't ask you what's happening in your home because I know you aren't ready to share. But if it becomes more than you can handle or should have to handle that will bring you safely to me." I explained.
Blaise took it and just stared before wrapping me in a hug.
"Thank you." Blaise said before walking away like nothing happened.
Now with that out of the way it was time to prepare to keep our house title. I marched with my group down to breakfast. We were all seated at our tables when Dumbledor stood to give his speech to award the House Cup.
"It is time to give out the house cup. Well done, Slytherin. However, recent events must be taken into account.-" Dumbledor began.
"What does he mean?" Draco hissed at me.
"That you all owe me money again." I whispered back.
"No, they didn't." Daphne groaned quietly.
"But they did." I whispered with a wink.
"-And I have a few last minute points to award. To Miss Hermione Granger, for the cool use of intellect while others were in grave peril, 50 points. Second, to Mr. Ronald Weasley, for the best-played game of chess that Hogwarts has seen these many years, 50 points. And third, to Mr. Harry Potter, for pure nerve and outstanding courage, I award Gryffindor house 60 points. Finally, it takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends. I award 10 points to Neville Longbottom. Assuming that my calculations are correct I believe that a change of decoration is in order. Gryffindor wins the house cup." Dumbledor finishes to applause.
The decor begins to change but stops halfway across the room. My hold as an heir on the castle takes hold and half the room stays decorated in Slytherin colors.
"What's going on?" Draco whispers.
"You know this castle is a sentient being, right? That's how the room of requirement is able to come and go. Well, heirs have a connection to this being. Meaning I have a connection. I'm disputing their win. The castle is agreeing with me but also with them. The castle is deeming the House cup a tie." I whispered back.
"It would appear that though I've award Gryffindor more points that Hogwarts disagrees with me. Hogwarts has decided on a tie so we shall celebrate two winners this year. Let's give a cheer to both Gryffindor and Slytherin!" Dumbledor exclaimed.
We stood up to cheer as I hugged my fellow snakes. Soon after breakfast we were headed to the train. We managed to squeeze into one car. By we I mean the Weasely twins and Lee, Blaise, Theo, Draco, and my girls. To fit each boy had one of us on their lap. I was on George's lap for the rest of the ride.
"When you girls visit my mom will be sure to charm little handbags for you, so you don't have to lug around trunks." I promised.
"Oh thank you! Can we go to a muggle store and get pens like you have? I want pretty sparkly gel pens! They're so easy to write with too instead of the quills." Daphne said.
"Duh! Of course I'll take you to any muggle store you'd like! Draco you'll visit as well, right? I mean I'm from an important pureblood family so surely your father will have no problem." I said with a raised brow.
