Louis's Pov
All day, it was a lot of fun playing in the water, relaxing in the sun and even burying each other in the sand. The day was just perfect and I was happy to spend it with my friends and Lottie.
Especially, Harry.
I was so happy to spend time with the lad who had the brightest smile and the most adorable laugh and softest eyes and just everything. Everything about him, I admire.
Though I was saddened by the fact that he didn't join us in the water...but I couldn't question him or the fact that he lied by saying that he couldn't swim. I knew he could...but I trusted him and his reasoning, despite not knowing the reason.
Soon, however, the sun was trickling down and the sunset was just beautiful. We were all sitting around the beach, getting dry and talking quietly amongst each other.
Liam was right next to Lottie and Zayn and Harry was on one side of me while Eleanor was on the other.
I leaned in close to Harry. "The sunset is beautiful, isn't?"
It was the first words I had spoken to him in a bit while he sat on the beach most of the day with a book he stole from Eleanor which was funny to me. The only time he put it down, was to laugh while me and Zayn were burying Liam into the sand before he escaped and chased us around the beach.
Harry looked at me, a warm smile on his face, green eyes shining. "Yes, it is. The colors are pretty...and the water is even more beautiful during this time..."
I hummed, trying to subtly scoot closer to him because Eleanor was really getting up in my personal space and I'd much rather be closer to Harry.
"I agree, Haz," I smiled back, both of us returning to continue watching the sun go down.
"Louis!" Eleanor broke the peaceful silence with her voice. "Will you take a picture of me with the sunset?"
She crawled to face in front of me, holding out her phone. She batted her eyelashes at me and I tried my best not to wince. I mean, Eleanor was obvious. I knew she liked me but her eyes didn't match my soulmate mark.
Harry's did.
But she was convinced that I was her soulmate because her mark was blue but she never seen mine and I didn't really have the heart to show her that she wasn't. One because she was my friend and two, I didn't want to break her heart. And three, I was saving my mark to show Harry and no one else so I tried my best to keep it hidden.
Even though, we had this conversation when we first met, she never stopped trying.
"Uhm, let Lottie do it!" I jumped, turning to Lottie who perked up as her name was called. "She's in photography and surely takes way better pictures than me!"
Lottie shook her head, glaring at me but I gave her pleading eyes before glancing at Eleanor.
"But I asked you?" She insisted.
I shrugged. "I'm rubbish at taking them..."
She huffed but when over to Lottie to ask her.
"Aren't you a photography minor too?" Harry whispered with a chuckle.
I shushed him. "She doesn't know that!"
We both laughed as we watched Lottie take pictures of Eleanor who posed and pretended to throw fake kisses.
I looked away, turning to Harry to start a conversation but he was staring down at his phone with a small frown on his face.
"Something wrong, Haz?" I asked softly, searching his face carefully.
