Louis's Pov

I was buzzing with happiness. Nothing could bring my mood down because the one who filled me with such happiness was right behind me, hanging onto my hand for life as I pulled him along.

After I finally told him how I really felt for him, he returned them! I couldn't stop myself from feeling this way and I literally didn't think I wanted to.

I knew the perfect place to take him for our first date.

Harry was always cliche and even though he didn't like to express it much, he was a hopeless romantic. And also, I may or may not have had this date planned out for a couple weeks...

It was Zayn and Liam who actually pitched the idea to me before I dragged them to Cali. There was this fair that always pops in during the summer during Cali before leaving in the middle of the summer. There were only a few more weeks left of the fair before it disappears until next year and I knew how Harry always wanted to go there.

Before I left for college, my family tried dragging him along with us but Lottie had told us all that he couldn't for some reason she wouldn't tell us for. It was weird and I never got to figure out why but now, I was dragging the both of us to the fair right now and the best part was, anyone could go and get in for free.

"Louis," Harry said then breaking me from my wandering thoughts. "Where are we going?"

I glanced over my shoulder to hum and his dimpled smile. "You'll see! Its a surprise!"

His eyes burned with curiosity as he laughed. "How did you come up with a surprise this fast?"

I slowed down so I could pull him closer to me. "Because I know exactly what you like!"

He gave me a pointed brow but I didn't miss the light pink blush that dusted his cheeks. "You know what I like?"

I smiled, swinging his hand with my mine. I loved the way they fit together; his big, yet dainty, hand in my, small, rough hand. I didn't know how to explain the feeling Harry always gave me; whether is was through the smallest of touches or the intense looks from time to time.

"You're a hopeless romantic! You like cliche but also original," I explained honestly. "You love to watch romantic comedies or even read sappy romantic books, singing the even more sappy love songs. Thats who you are; the sappy lovey person who cares about everyone around them."

Harry's eyes were soft and wide in a look of fond and the type of innocence I just wanted to kiss away.

Fuck, I'm whipped.

"Shut up," Harry blushed and stared at the ground in hopes to hide his smile. I grinned victoriously when he couldn't find words to tell me that I'm wrong.

Because I was surely right.

The walk was not that far. Really, this beach side town wasn't that big because most of its size included these tourist attractions and party places.

When we got closer to the place I knew Harry would love, the bug Farris wheel appeared before us, giving it away quickly as Harry gasped.

"You're taking me to the fair?" He asked, stopping quickly, admiring the bright lights that flashed on the wheel going round and round.

I chuckled, pulling him along. "I remembered that day of when my family invited you along right before I left...but Lottie told us you couldn't go. I remembered how much you talked about it as we planned it a few days ahead and how much you wanted to go..."

Harry stared at me in awe. "Louis, that was like over two years ago...I'm surprise you remembered."

I scratched the back of my head, feeling shy. "Well, of course I remembered. I remembered how excited I was to have you there and how disappointed I was when I found out you couldn't go. I missed you..."
