Chapter 30 Shaking Up the Past

Harry's Pov

As I shot through the dark water blindly, I could feel that I was not alone. There was a ton of fish and sea life around me but then, there was a sudden shock through the currents in the depths and I could recognize the presence...

It was Niall.

If I was already swimming fast, I pushed myself to my limit to reach him. They were already so far out in the sea but I was gaining on them quick.

I had no doubt, Louis and the rest of the group were heading for the pier too. Before I zoomed away from the bakery, I had caught sight of Louis's hair before leaving completely. A comforting feeling sunk down in my gut at the thought that I wouldn't be alone.

Niall's grew stronger and stronger and as I got closer, I could see him struggling with something I couldn't see well in the darkness of the waves.

"Niall!" I yelled, my voice being carry through the water. His icy blue tail and eyes whipped around to face me. It was the only way I could see him in the depths.

"Oh my God, Harry!" He called back, swimming in my direction. I met him in the middle and saw that his hands were tied together by rope and was connected to some sort of fishing line.

"We gotta get out of here before the dragged me back up again," Niall said hurriedly, thrusting his tied hands forward.

"Niall-" I took his wrists gently, they were already raw from the ropes. "I don't even know-what the fuck do they want?"

I asked him, shaking my head. I didn't even know what the fuck I was supposed to do.

"He wants both of our fathers," Niall looked scared. "I don't know what to do, except to call for them...I know your father will come quickly, but-"

"Do it," I pushed, an idea forming in my head. "There is a reason for the hunters wanting him but perhaps, we can beat them. They are in our own terrain-"

"Harry-" Niall immediately tried to protest as he knew what it would mean for us and what we had to do.

"Niall, if we don't take them down, they will kill us," I interrupted him and he closed his mouth, certainly hearing my own desperation.

"Ok, ok," he took a deep breath, letting it go. I watched the bubbles form and float to the top, seeing as Niall closed his eyes, letting his face fall.

And I knew, he was concentrating.

Louis's Pov

My heart was in my throat as we got closer and closer to the hunters who had Niall as a hostage. My nerves were really getting to me now and not only because we were facing seriously dangerous people, but because the water was growing more reckless and the sky looked more scary.

Its seems the white boat ahead of us, seemed to have been stopped but the rocky waters weren't being too careful with the boat.

"Mum," Lottie had a warning to fearful word.

"I know, sweetie, its alright," my mum called back. I held onto Lottie tightly, knowing she was afraid of the waters too and the thought of them waves knocking us over into the depths. Drowning was not something we needed right now; not with these men on the loose and Harry and Niall both alone either on the boat or in the sea too.

We got close enough to the white boat, to hear a rough voice call out to us. "What are you doing here, Johannah?"

My mum stopped the boat, turning to us crowded in the corner and motioned to one of us to put down the anchor. Liam was the closest to it and got to work, cranking the machine to release the anchor, sending it straight down to the depths. We were close enough to the boat, that if we wanted or if they wanted, we could make a jump onto each other's boats.
