Eleanor's Pov

My days have grown boring ever since Louis decided to turn me away, showing me his green mark. I still couldn't believe it.

Still, in my heart, he was mine and I wanted him. I just wanted a chance with him. But no, he liked that stupid kid, whatever his name was, I couldn't be bothered to remember it.

But I wanted to give Louis space. Its been almost a week since then. So, I was headed my way towards their flat, hoping the annoying freak of kid wasn't there.

Of course, I kmew what the freak was. A freak with a tail. It was so easy to tell first time I met the freak and the girl with him. I mean, the girl was Louis's brother but anyone who protects any freaks, isn't going to be a friend of mine.

My father was the one who taught me how to search for the tail freaks of nature. He hunted them and killed them before they could lure us into the depths and kill us while we search the sea by sail.

He tells me stories of them and how they've hurt our family, breaking us up. He tells me of my grandparents and great grandparents and so on and how they were hunters before Atlantis crumpled beneath the depths and separated my family.

So to say for certain, i was following in my fathers footsteps. He always included me in his meetings with the other few hunters around the area, who still hunt, because he knew I'd follow him and he trusted me.

And this freak won't know what will hit him when I'll tell my father.

On my way towards Louis's flat, I had to pass through the park. As the trees, the wide land, and huge playground set with swings and monkey bars surrounded me, I realized I wasn't alone. Actually, Louis was here, so was that girl and Liam and all of Louis's sisters....and so was the freak.

I froze, seeing as they were cuddled with each other; Louis holding the disgusting freak by the hips, the kids back to his chest and immediately, flames of jealousy burned at my gut.

Before I could even think, my feet were already moving towards the seemingly close friends. From another person's view, they looked like a couple. They were talking as I got closer, their voices carrying in the air as I listened in. I could only hear small murmurs sadly and they stopped then to hug.

But as they pulled away, the freak noticed me first and I took in pleasure how his face shifted immediately, his smiling wiping clean off his face. I bet he knows I feel just the same as him as he felt about me.

He whispered to Louis, no doubt telling him I was here and stopping him before turning around. For some reason that really got my blood boiling.

I went up and tapped Louis's shoulder for his attention, completely ignoring the freak of nature.

"Hey, Louis!" I chirped, honestly happy to see him.

Louis visibly tensed and I tried not to deflate as he turned around with a bored face. "What do you want, Eleanor?"

"I thought I could hang out with you," I said matter-of-factly. "I was heading over to your flat and I-"

"Eleanor, I know you don't want to hang out with the group so I don't know why you're here," Louis said bluntly and I took a chip to my chest.

But I didn't try to pretend. "Well, I mean, I thought it could the two of us...there's a new movie out and I thought-"

He cut me off again. "No."
