Chapter 19 Parks

Louis's Pov

The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the fact that Harry was gone. Panic hit me and I had jumped upright, wide awake and alert but Liam was there and told me him and Niall went out to hang.

I had relaxed and just texted him before waking Lottie and joining Liam at the table to eat breakfast. Deciding that there really wasn't anything for us to do, we all came together in the living room and turned on the tv to watch something before Zayn and Liam started to play cod on the ps4. I wasn't interested, so I just sat and waited for Harry to text me back and when he did, me and him talked for a bit.

To Hazza💚, from Louis: you disappeared on me.

From Hazza💚, to Louis: I'm sorry. I didn't want to wake you so I told Liam to tell you that me and Niall went to hang out.

To Hazza 💚, from Louis: its alright, Love. I just panicked there for a moment when I didn't see you. Where did you guys go?

From Hazza💚, To Louis: just the park or whatever. No where, really, just walked and talked. But we're coming back now.

I bit my lip, thinking to myself. I wanted to cheer Harry up somehow, because after last night, I know, he was certainly feeling down and I didn't like how sad he might be feeling right now.

To Hazza💚, from Louis: when you get back, can I talk to you?

It took a minute or two for Harry to answer, despite me seeing that he had read it.

From Hazza💚, to Louis: yeah. Of course.

To Hazza💚, From Louis: :)

I sent the smile to reassure him that it was nothing bad before shutting my phone off to wait for him.

Since the park wasn't really too far from here, it really didn't take long before the lock on the door clicked and both Niall and Harry walked in. I stood silently, catching Harry's doe eyes. Turning, I walked in the direction to the patio we had connected to the flat in the back and I could hear Harry following me.

If the others had questions, none of them spoke up as me and Harry walked away.

When I opened the doors to fresh air, I held it open for Harry as we walked out onto the short patio. He leaned up against the side of the patio to watch the outdoors and the trees that swayed beneath the wind. Shutting the door, I stood beside him, watchung him.

"How are you doing?" I asked softly.

Harry's face was soft. "Ok...better now that I'm away."

I searched his face, just in case he really wasn't ok. "Are you sure?"

He nodded, looking down at his hands but his lips trembled. "Its just hard...he's my father and I've grown up with him. I'm just scared."

I scooted closer to him, wrapping my arm around his shoulder. "I know you're scared but I promised you last night he won't hurt you anymore."

Harry relaxed in my hold but his eyes didn't look convinced. I decided to change the subject.

"Do you wanna go to the park? I know you were with Niall but I was wondering if you wanted to take the girls there too and just hang out and have fun. Maybe even get some ice cream too?" I asked, wiggling my brows, finally catching a smile on his face.

I returned his smile in victory. "Come on. We can ask the lads and we'll go together to get the girls."

I held out my hand, Harry taking it so I could us both inside to the others that waited.
