History went well I guess. Though I kept getting flirtatious looks from the girls around me, it still went ok.

After classes, Jeremy showed me my locker which happens to be a bit far from his and close to this guy named Blake. WAIT... Blake, Oh geez.

"Guess we meet again, slick" my new locker mate said.

"Don't call me that" I said.

"Sorry. Levi is it? You should totally hang with the guys and I sometimes" he said smirking.

"And why is that?"

"It's totally your scene dude. Where you belong."

Ok no one decides what I do with my life. I was about to shut this guy up thanks to quick temper but then someone showed up.

It's the cheerleader from maths class.

"Hey babe" Blake said smiling.

"Hi" she gave him a chaste kiss on the cheek.

Sooo... she's taken but guys still have eyes for her? Talk about toxicity.

"Well Levi," Blake wraps his arm around her waist. " This is my girlfriend, THE AURELIA BROOKS"

Wow. He makes her sound like some trophy. But whatever. That's their relationship. Hold on, what the hell am I still doing here.

"Cool. I gotta go." I say leaving.

"Kay. Think about what I said okay!" Blake yelled but I didn't bother answering him.

I went outside where Jeremy was leaning on car. It's the one his dad bought him on his sixteenth birthday.

"Yo Lee. I've been here for minutes. What were you doing there?"

"Nothing. This Blake guy wanted to..."

Wait, Blake? God I hate that guy." He cuts me off. "I don't even know what Aurelia sees in him"

"O..k. Can we go now?" I day getting into the car. "I have to get to work early today."

Yeah did I tell you I also worked in a mechanic garage. It may sound bad but it was my decision. I've always been fascinated by cars so Jeremy's dad hooked me up.

"Yeah yeah I'm going" he gets into the car. "No need to pee your pants."

The drive home was normal. Jeremy tells me the latest version of a game, the hottest songs, girls and things. He drops me off and I immediately get dressed to get to work.

When I got there Jim was the only one there. He's the guy in charge of the place. He is really old and a good listener. Recently, we've formed a good relationship. He sees me as a son and I see him as a dad.

"Hey there Jim."

"Levi. My favorite bud. How was school today?" He says grinning.

"It was ok. I guess." I shrugged

"Make any friends?" He asks walking towards me.

"I don't need friends." He taps my shoulder and walks to the back.

"I got some burritos. Want one?" He's aware of my love for burritos. How could he even ask that?

"Of course I want one"

"Ok. Gimme a sec." He says walking to his office.

I move over to sit on a bench when I got a text from Jeremy.

Goof: I'm booorred 😭😭😭😭

Me: And about to get me fired. Quit texting me at work.

Goof: fine. 😭 Go work 😢 I don't care.

Me: Thanks.

Goof: 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Damn. He's the definition of drama. I put my phone in my pocket when someone walked in.

"Hello. Is anyone here? My car broke down and someone directed me here." The voice said. It sounded like a girl. Ugh guess I gotta go attend to her.

I move towards the door and saw she was already leaving. I run after her.

"Excuse me, miss?"

She turns around and it's the cheerleader.

Aurelia.
