Chapter eight

I close my locker and we left for class although I couldn't help but turn around. I saw Blake take his hand out of Aurelia's and drags off to a corner.

"I hate him so much. How dare he insult my side burns!" Jeremy says obviously still pissed off. I gotta admit he can really pull off to the side burns look.
Blake's just dumb

"Like there's plenty of other guys practically begging for her attention" He carries on ranting.

"If you like her that much, just go for her" I simply say. She does deserve someone better anyways.

"She'll not spare me a glance" He shrugs

"So you telling me that she'll rather be with someone who doesn't respect her than you" I ask confused.

"That's love" he says grinning.

"That's dumb. This is one of the reasons I'm still single"

"Nah Lee, you're single cuz you don't want to give anyone a shot. You gonna grow old alone bro"
He says laughing.

Though he's kinda right. I need to get over my past.

"I wonder what time it is" Jeremy says

"I'll check" I bring out my phone to check the time but then bumped into someone toppling all her books. Crud

"Ah gee! I'm so sorry...I wasn't watching. I'm sorry." She rambles crouching down to pick up her books.

I bend to help her, " No it was my fault. Here." I say giving her her books.

We both get up and must I say that this girl is... gorgeous.

It was a brunette. She possesses deep green eyes and tiny freckles on her face which suits her. A button nose and soft plump...

"Levi!" Jeremy exclaimed pulling me from my trance. "Quit checking her out." He says making the pretty blush. That's cute. Wait what does he mean by checking her out. I didn't even get to her body.

"Hey. I'm Emilia" She says with outstretched hands which I shook. " You must be Levi. I've heard a lot about you" she continues with her soft voice.

"Well I hope they're good things"  I reply

"Hmm... that's one way to put it" she states with a smile. I think I'm gonna give her a go.

I didn't realize we were still holding hands until Jeremy cleared his throat.

"Levi, this is Emilia. The president of the student council." Jeremy explained.

"Hey Jeremy" she says. Seems they know each other. "You two heading for math right?"

"Yeah" I said simply

"Well let's go" she says grinning.

Wait how did I not notice her in class yesterday.
We walked to class silently though Emilia and I kept stealing glances at each other. She was really pretty... though not as pretty as Aurelia.

Wait... did I just think that.

"We're here. Finally" Jeremy muttered. " It's hard to breathe with all this tension around."

What's his problem.

We entered the class early and sat close to each other in the back. I kept getting glances from the girls. Though it reduced when Aurelia walked in.

"So you guys going to Nat's party on friday?" Emilia asked

"No" I reply "Parties are not my scene" I continue

"But it'll be fun"

"Yeah Lee. You gotta learn to let loose at times" Jeremy said

"I'll think about it"

"And I'll make sure you say yes" Emilia said making me cringe

"You making it sound like some kind of proposal"

"Now wouldn't that be something" Jeremy snickered

"Aurelia Brooks, report to the principal's office. Aurelia Brooks." The speaker said

"Looks like Daddy's girl's in trouble" Emilia scoffed

"You still don't like her" Jeremy states

So I'm guessing they have a past. Ugh, girl drama.

Thirty minutes into the lesson I felt pressed so I took permission from the teacher and left.

With all eyes on me. Creeps

I did my business and head back to class but then heard sniffles coming from what looked like a janitor's closet. I peeped through and saw a girl crying.

Aurelia.
