Chapter seventeen

Immediately rush home,  I punch in the code and drive in. I park my car and get into the house trying Lee's phone once more.

"Back already?" A voice spoke making me jump.

"Dad! What the..." I hold my chest still in shock from the attack earlier.

"Why so jumpy. What's wrong?"

I go to sit close to him on the couch.

"It's Lee, dad. We went to Nat's party together but I couldn't find him. Then some guys attacked me. I think they did something to Lee."

"This is bad. Have you tried calling" he asks

"For the past thirty minutes...why?"

He brings out his phone and calls someone.

"Hello Jim." Dad says "Is Levi with you...What!...ok thank you."

He then puts his phone on speaker.

"Levi..." Dad says

"Yes sir." I hear Levi speak. Though his voice came out a bit raspy.

"Bro where you been!" I asked

"It's Don. He's out of jail...and after me. He sent some goons after me and...they did a job well done." He explains chuckling a hit at the end.

"Levi are you ok?" Dad asked looking a bit panicked.

"Yeah he's fine. He's a tough kid" Jim says.

"Ok hang tight bud. We'll be there soon" I assure

"Hmm... tomorrow actually" dad says making me pout.

"Okay thanks" Lee says and hang up.

I'm very glad he's okay.

Aurelia

I woke up today feeling extremely tired and dizzy. I attempt to leave my bed but felt something at my feet. Frightened, I kick it as hard as I can only to hear a shriek from a very angry Emilia...very.

"What was that, Aurelia?!" She screamed while holding her forehead in pain.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't know you were there. I...what are you doing here, anyways?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows.

"Wait, you don't remember yesterday?" She asks

"Umm...I went to Nat's party and...had some drinks. I spoke to Blake and..." I pause.

It felt like the remembrance truck hit me as everything came flooding in my brain. Blake spiked my drink and tried to take advantage of me but Lee and Emilia saved me and took me home. I also told Levi about Blake and I's relationship. Oh God.

"I see you remember now judging by the constipated face you making now." Emilia said while carrying her purse. "I'll see you around. Take care"

She says and leaves. I can't believe she helped me after what I did to her. Being the dumbbell I am, I didn't even say thank you.

I prepared for school and went downstairs when I saw our butler, Reese. He only comes around when dad isn't gonna be around for the day.

"Reese? Where's dad?" I asked

"He's off on a business trip." He shortened

"Oh" I say lowly but I was low-key Happy. Very happy.

I went to school in hopes to see Lee and thank him for what he did at the party but I haven't seen or heard from him...even Jeremy's absent. It's third period now and Lee's still not in class. I wander around hoping to find him when I am yanked by my arm and slammed into a wall.

"Where are you going, fool?" Blake spat

"Please let me go. I don't have time for this." I said trying to hide my fear

"Because of you, my jaw got dislocated. You're gonna regret that." He says lowly

"Pl... please" I stuttered when he tightened his hold. I kick his groin area causing him to lose balance and attempt to run but he caught me and stood up slapping me hard across the face.  I fell and held my face.

"You slut!" He crouched down to my level and grabbed my chin, making me look at him. "Let's see who'll save you now"

"Make one more move and you're getting expelled!" A voice yelled. I turn to see Emilia with her arms crossed.

"And who are you to give me orders" he asked standing. 

She smirked and almost immediately, and announcement was made in the school through the speakers.

"Blake Ferguson report to the principal's office. Blake Ferguson!!!"

He groans and leaves while Emilia picks me up and leads towards the office as well.

"You're also needed."

We are seated while the principal showed Blake a video, asking him to explain himself. It was a video of him hitting me. Emilia had...videoed it?

"She's my girl. I can do what I want."

"Not in here Blake" The principal said sternly

"But..."

"That's assault and will not be tolerated. Pack your bags. You're hereby suspended for three weeks from Sanders college."
