We stare at each other for a while until someone clears their throat... again.
We looked up to see Jeremy, Emilia, Mr Kane and Jim staring at us. I try to read Jeremy's and Emilia's gaze coz I don't know what they'll be feeling now.
"Um... this is...new" Jeremy says clearing his throat.
"How long has it been going on" Emilia asked
"Nothing's going on" I glanced at Aurelia "for now."
"Oh" is all Jeremy says
"Look bro I'm sorry...I just..." I start but he cut me off.
"It's ok Lee. Seriously I was over Aurelia after she rejected me and my soft soft lips." He then looks at Emilia softly "I think I'm moving on." He says and Emilia... blushes.
Aww.
"Well...now that that's settled. What do we do about her dad!" Emilia says pointing at Aurelia.
"I could get my lawyer and we can file a case against him." Mr Kane says.
"No! Please we'll not do anything!" Aurelia exclaims
"Why?" I asked her "he hits you and..."
"He's the only family I have left. Please" she says subtly with teary eyes.
"Ok"
Her phone dings again signifying another text from her dad.
"What does it say?" Emilia asked
"He wants me to come home now." She says
"You're not going." I say clenching my fist.
"Yeah I agree with Lee on this one. He's dangerous." Jeremy says.
"That'll only make him mad" she says sniffling a bit.
"How bout this?" Jim starts. I actually forgot he was here. "You go see your dad but Levi goes with you just in case."
"Yes. He could hide behind the bushes by the windows." Emilia agrees.
"Will you be able to...do that?" Aurelia asks me.
"Of course." I say squeezing her hand a little. I hate seeing her in tears. It...hurts.
"Alright. Let's go." She says.
"I'm coming. For backup." Jeremy says.
"Me too." Emilia says grabbing Jeremy arm.
What happened when they were in the back room.
"Yes. But please be careful." Mr Kane tells his son "especially with Don on the loose."
"Alright now let's go." I say already tired.
Aurelia
We arrived at my house with Levi, Jeremy and Emilia hiding behind the windows. I'm so grateful for them if not I would have been a crying mess.
I enter the house and saw my dad standing in the middle of the room with his stoic face.
"I see you finally decided to show up." He says.
"What do you want." I say
"You got Blake suspended. His suspension made his parents angry ending the deal we had."he said moving closer to me. He then grabbed my arm. "Do you realize what you have done.?"
"Please. He hits me and..." I start, already tearing up.
"So what. It's business. You can't handle a little slap!" He yelled in my face. "Who is Levi to you?" He says lowly making me shiver.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
"Who. Is. Levi?" He asks again.
"Please leave him alone." I say
"So you do care about him. Interesting." He let's go of me and steps back.
"What do you...?" I ask getting confused.
"Guess I have to kill two birds with one stone." An evil smirk crossed his lips "The Don will be pleased"
"What..."
Just then I felt a stinging pain at my neck. I turn around and saw a masked man holding a syringe. I look back at my father who maintains his smirk.
"What...have you...done?" Everything got blurry as my legs gave out toppling me to the ground. I saw something in my peripheral vision which made my already closing eyes tear up.
Levi was being dragged across the room and he was unconscious. I tried calling for him but everything went... black.
