Blake and some guys all dressed up in football clothes approached us. Seems they're all on the team.

"What was that about, sideburns?" He asks glaring at Jeremy.
"What do you mean, Blake?" Jeremy replies returning the glare.
"You stay away from Aurelia. You hear me" he says moving closer to Jeremy trying to intimidate him.
"Oh yeah" Jeremy moves closer "and if I don't?"

That pissed Blake off coz he grabbed Jeremy by the collar.

"Then you'll never walk again" he threatened

Jeremy didn't seem fazed instead he pushes Blake causing him to fall on the floor, legs up.

Wimp.

The other guys with Blake tried attacking Jeremy. This is where I'mma step up.

They were two guys with Blake so I handled one while Jeremy handled the other... though he wasn't doing a very great job. I went and pried the guy off him and throwing him on the field, helping Jeremy up.

"Lee look out!" Jeremy exclaimed

Someone turned me around and attempted punch me but I catch his hand and twist it earning a nasty crack....and of course a squeal from Blake.

The Cheerios we're already out and Aurelia ran to Blake's side where he was still screaming.

"What's wrong with you!" She screamed at me. I'm not taking any of her shit. If her guy hadn't been such a douchebag, he'll be fine.

"If you don't want anyone beating up your guy then get him a leash. Maybe then he'll learn some manners!" I screamed back to her.

Maybe I shouldn't have but she shouldn't be supporting Blake. I pick up my bag and left the field with Jeremy trailing after. We didn't get in trouble... perhaps we didn't coz it's school over...or the teachers don't have the time for our squabbling.
Either way, I'm grateful.

The day went by pretty fast. Jeremy was bummed that Aurelia hadn't taken our side. I had to call Jim to tell him that I won't be working this week which he was very chill with. He thinks it's because I'm hanging out with friends.

The next day, as usual, Jeremy picked me up and I went to my locker I opened it but then someone slammed it shut. Thanks to reflexes, I was able to remove my hands in time.

"You got lucky. I was aiming for the hands" Blake said

"I see you haven't learned anything yet so you've come for more" I say.

The students were already gathered expecting a brawl.

"Just know that you haven't seen the last of me" he spoke like a Disney villain "I'm gonna get you back for that stunt you pulled. Watch your back Levi" he said stepping closer to me.

I stepped closer, "Bring it" I say and walk away deliberately bumping into his injured hand earning a squeak from him and a smirk from me.

I was about entering the class when I got pulled into a room. The same room? Who is it this time?

"Hey...I..I just wanted to talk to you" Aurelia spoke

"What about" I couldn't help but noticed how cramped up we are... like Emilia.

"Yesterday. I'm sorry for yelling at you. You didn't deserve it"

"What do you see in him?" I say obviously asking the obvious.

"That's personal Levi" she says attempting to leave but I pull her back to me.

"They are a lot of guys out there that'll treat you better he does, Aurelia. He doesn't deserve you" I say staring into her eyes. Call me cliche but I couldn't look away.

"Like who" she asks but I couldn't help but notice her gaze flicker to my lips and back to my eyes. "Tell me" she repeats.

"Like Jeremy" I say but a part of me felt unsure...why?

"I'm not interested." She says

"So you think Blake is better than the other guys here?"

"I didn't say that. I just think there's someone that could be better than Jeremy" she says maintaining eye contact with me.

"L... like who?" You fool why the hell are you stuttering.

"Like..." She moves closer making us very close to each other... very close.

"Like?" I repeat and her gaze move from my eyes to my lips while she attempts to close the distance but then...

"DRRRRIIIIIIIINNNNGGGGG" saved by the bell.

Aurelia stares at me and it seems as though realization just dawned on her. She quickly moves away and leaves the room while I released the breath I didn't know I was holding.

What was that?
