All I need

Chapter thirteen

I exit the room and rush to class still thinking about what would have happened if the bell hadn't went off.

"Yo! Levi!" Someone said waving their hand in my face. I turn to see the girl who had invited me her party.
"What?!" I say swatting her hand out of my face.
"Fiesty" she says smirking. "I like it"

What a douche.

"So you still on for tomorrow night." She asks
"I never agreed"
"How bout now" she says, checking me out.
"You'll know if you see me tomorrow" I say and walk out.

I arrive in class and seat close to Jeremy and Emilia. I still couldn't stop thinking about Aurelia. She wasn't in class and I couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. What's happening to me.

"Lee, what are you thinking about?" Jeremy asks
"It's nothing. I kinda just spaced out." Could it be that I have feelings for Aurelia. No, it can't be. Jeremy really likes her and...I can't do that to myself.

"Lee!" Emilia says nudging me
"Yeah" I say turning to her.
"I asked if you were still coming to my place for the project"
"Um...sure"

Emilia smiles and blushes. She is nice and... kinda cute. Ok I'm gonna give this a shot. Just not with Aurelia...with Emilia.

Aurelia

I can't believe I almost kissed Levi. How could I do that. I developed a crush on him since the first day I saw him...but couldn't do anything about it because...I can't.

I run out of the janitor's closet to the girls bathroom to clear my head then I start making my way to class when I'm stopped by my 'charming' boyfriend, Blake.

"What was that, Aurelia?!" He says gripping my arm with his good hand.

"Blake... you're hurting me" I force out

"So you ditching me for side burns" I says talking about Jeremy.

"No. What are you talking about?"

He pushes me back, "I see the way he looks at you"

He's right. Jeremy has had a crush on me since I can remember but I'm not interested. He has never even made a move on me.
"Blake I'm not interested in him"

Blake pulls me forward again. "Oh I know. Because you're into his friend right?"

I didn't answer him. I just stared at him. Blake has never been known as dumb. In fact he was very smart.

"You better not think about it Aurelia." He leans closer to my ear. "Or I guess your dad will talk some sense into you"

"Don't..." I whisper

He lets me go without a word and leaves for class.

Blake's family was very rich and his dad was best friends with my father. My father had bought his family's company and they had allowed him to do so but two things had to be done:

Blake is to go on a scholarship to this school and

We were to be on a relationship...to strengthen our family's bond else Blake's family will call off the deal and get their company back. Either way, I'm the one suffering.

The bell goes signalling the end of the first period. I see Levi and Jeremy approaching me and I try my best to avoid eye contact with Levi but fail woefully as we seem to be in an intense stare-off.

Jeremy cleared his throat bringing me back as he asks if we were still meeting at mine, today. I said yes and he kept giving me that lovesick smile.

He then walks away with Levi trailing behind. Levi then pulls me softly towards him to whisper.

"Are you ok?" I literally shivered. His voice does things I don't know how to explain.

"Yes" I say simply

"You've been crying" I didn't realize

"Something got stuck in my eye" I say.

With that he walks away quickly to catch up with Jeremy who didn't even notice his absence.
