Chapter fifteen

"DRRRRIIIIIIIINNNNGGGGG"
My alarm sounds waking me up from my nap. After figuring out that I have feelings for Aurelia yesterday, I kept thinking about her until I fell asleep.

Heck I didn't even realize when I fell asleep.

I dragged myself out of bed and prepared for school. I decided to wear black jeans, black tee inside a red jacket and some black Nike.
With all said and done, I went to school so I could finally get over what can be known as the longest week of my life.

When putting my books in my locker, Jeremy jumps on my back making his presence known.

Goof.

"Hey Lee!" I squeaks

"Sup J" I say turning to Jeremy only to see a sad pout on his face. "You okay bro?" I asked

"No, not really" he says

"Hope it has nothing to do with Blake?!" I say already getting pissed off.

"No."

"Then what's up?"

"Yesterday I tried making a move on Aurelia" he starts.

How in the world did I forget that Jeremy practically worships Aurelia. Good going, Lee. Your first crush and it's on a girl your bro's been eyeing since... forever. Now he's made a move on...

"WHAT!" I exclaimed. Call me stupid and possessive but I like her so no one's getting her.

"Gee why getting all fiesty on me" he asked, clearly taken about by my outburst.

"What did you do, Jeremy" mo voice becoming a tone lower...on instinct.

"After doing our project yesterday,..." Oh the project. I forgot about that. "I told her how I felt which she surprisingly knew already, and then...I leaned in"

I clenched my fist but hid it away from him. He couldn't know that I feel like punching him over his first love.

"What then?" I asked

"She pushed me back saying she's with someone else."

I breathe a breath of relief while Jeremy looks at me like I have two heads or something.

"Jeremy! Levi!" Emilia's voice called saving me from this awkward situation.

"Hey Emilia" we say in unison

"So y'all still coming to the party tonight right?"

Shucks was that today.

"Yeah we are" Jeremy says.

Oh God let this day come to an end already. Please

    Thankfully, the day went perfectly fast. Emilia still acted friendly around which I'm very grateful for.

We are now at that girl's party. It's only been fifteen minutes and I already feel nauseated. I decided to go to the back... alone because Jeremy was too busy flirting with (according to him) new Aurelia...which I am once again grateful for.

I walk to the back and hear some of screaming. I move in the direction only to see Aurelia sprawled on the floor sobbing with Blake trying to force himself on her. She looks weak like she had been...drugged.

"Lee what are you...is that Aurelia?!" Emilia screams coming beside me.

We watch Blake slap Aurelia and try pinning her hands on the wall.

That tears it.

I charged at him throwing punches at him until I hear a crack on his jaw. Emilia on the other hand tries getting a crying Aurelia on her feet. I go to them and pick Aurelia up bridal style and with Emilia's help, take her home.

I lay her on the bed while Emilia goes to get water. Thankfully, no one was at home.

"It's ok. You're fine" I say holding her close

"You can't be here" she chokes

"Why not?"

"Dad will kill me if he finds out." She sobs "I'm only meant to be with Blake...no one else"

"Are you being forced, Aurelia?" I asked confused.

"Yes. Please go away, Levi"
