Jake's POV
I hate the mall. It's too loud, too many people. My Dad is literally forcing me to come along with them only because I wasn't home when the quadruplets came home yesterday.
Come on I was literally on my way home when they got home but since I was late I'm stuck in a car and taking them shopping. Don't get me wrong I love my little sisters but it's been 11 years, and a lot has changed.
When we stop at the mall me and Blake get out and hold the door open for the girls. Rory slides out and waits closely by me for the rest. How do I know it's Rory, simple she's the only one who gets anxious on car rides. I noticed how she taps her foot against the floor and lightly hums to the radio.
One of the girls slides out next to us and I shut the door seeing the other two with Blake and Jess on the other side. I start to walk to the entrance of the mall I hear an urgent pattering of feet before Rory walks next to me. I hear a sigh behind me before one of the remaining three comes up on the other side of Rory.
We walk inside the mall, Jess speeds up and stops in front of us.
"Where do we want to go first?"
All the girls shrug.
"How about we get some clothes first Jess," Blake suggests as they both lead us to random stores. We enter the first store the girls all disperse but Rory stays with me.
"Aren't you gonna go shopping?"
"You have to come with me."
"Why?"
"Riley said to stick with one of you, so I pick you to stay with." She gives me a wide smile. I sigh before leading her to the pants section of the store.
She picks out a few pairs. She holds up two pairs that look the same before looking at me. "Which ones?"
"They're the same."
"No, they are not. See this one is light-washed, and this one is not." She moves the jeans that I still so no difference in.
"Just get both."
"I can get both?" Why wouldn't she be able to get both?
"Yes, get as much as you want." She looks hesitant before taking both pairs. We walk over to the top section. That's when I lose all interest. I watch as she picks out some shirts of different varieties.
We spend about another 30 minutes in this store before leaving. Walking out I notice how Ruby was attached to Jessica as Ruby was walking with Blake, but Riley was not 'paired' with anyone.
Blake leads us to a few other stores, we have to take a trip out to the car and drop the bags off. We went back in and get some school supplies. Walking into the store me and Rory go and grab her a backpack. She picks out a pastel, tie-dye bag, we grab her some supplies.
"Whats our school like?"
"It's school so boring as hell."
"You can't say that word." She slaps my shoulder lightly. I chuckle at her and check out her stuff. I check my phone to see that everyone else is going to the food court and then we can go home.
We walk over to the table. I sit down next to Blake who already has food. Jess hands us a bag of food that apparently they ordered for us.
We sit around and eat before walking back to the car. We head home sitting in the same spots as before. When we get halfway home I feel a weight on my shoulder. Looking down I see Rory on my shoulder, sleeping. Blake looks over and smiles mockingly at me before taking out his phone and snapping pictures.
Dirty bastard knows I can't grab it from him. I glare at him as he smiles at me. I sit there with her sleeping on me until we pull up to the house.
When we stop I move her head up a little and unbuckle her. I grab under her knees and behind her back lifting her from the car. I walk inside with her and go up to her room. walking up the stairs I struggle a little since I can't see the steps and I don't want to drop her.
I enter her room and set her on the bed pulling this fluffy pink blanket over her. She snuggles into the blanket, I watch her making sure she stays asleep and then I leave the room closing her door quietly.
I walk down to see the maids and guards that are bringing up the girl's stuff.
"Leave Rory's stuff outside of her room. Do not wake her up." I tell them as they nod before going up the stairs. Blake and the girls are in the living room watching tv. Jess gets a call and leaves the room as I walk in.
"Hey, do you guys want your tour?" Blake asks them as they look at each other before nodding.
They get up before walking with us. Blake takes the lead and shows them around the house. We show them the pool outside, the movie room, and the gym in the basement. In the end, we show them the hallway that has the offices. Dad, Oliver, and Jess all have an office for work.
We aren't usually allowed down here unless we need something. Blake tells the girls a little bit about some rules of the house. Despite us having maids the cleanliness of our rooms is completely up to us. Things like this are told to them. Thankfully picking up after ourselves is really our only chore unless in trouble.
With the tour done we all separate until dinner time.
