Riley's POV
Walking inside I'm met with a large room with tables everywhere. On the far left wall, there is a table set up with snack foods.
The one table has charcuterie boards of mixed foods along with the mini sliders that Ryan wanted.
The table next to it was dessert. It had cake pops, and macaroons, mini tarts, mini tiramisu. Then on the very end was a chocolate fountain with fruits and pretzels marshmallows around it.
Scattered around the tables laid fruit around the tables. On the wall closest to us is a large white tulle backdrop with fairy lights lighting it up from the back. A frame of pink roses and hydrangea combined with gold and pearl balloons.
On the tables that people are sitting at there are small bouquets of mixed flowers with reds and blues and purples.
Around the hall accents of pearls are found along with glitter found in the jars that hold the bouquets and in the table runners.
"Wow," I mutter under my breath seeing how much Jess was able to do with our limited suggestions and short time. Dad leads us to the party. Some of our cousins have already arrived.
We didn't invite any of our friends seeing as how this was supposed to be more of a family gathering.
I look around the room trying to find Ashton. His father however finds us first. He greets my dad and gives us our happy birthday.
"Where is Ashton?" I ask Dimitri.
"Over there by the dessert table with his brothers." I look to see the four boys. I smile at him in thanks before leaving him.
I walk over and get a look at Ashton to see his curls are slightly messy but cute. He isn't wearing his glasses, he is in black pants and a black shirt with the top button unbuttoned.
He is standing with his back against the wall looking annoyed at his brothers. When he hears my heels he looks up and smiles when he sees me.
I hear one of his brothers make a comment that makes the others laugh and Ashton's cheeks redden.
"Hey, Ash." I walk up to him and simply stand next to him as he puts his arm around me. I would. I kiss him but one of my brothers and his are watching and I don't want to get my lipstick on him.
"Hi." He kisses my forehead. "You remember my brothers. Andrei, Mikhail, Maxwell." he points to each brother as he says their names.
"Nice to see you three again." I greet them.
"It's lovely to see you. Happy birthday," Andrei says. me.
"Thank you." I nod and look toward Ashton. "what'd like to get you to get me?"
"Was I supposed to get you a gift?" he fakes a surprised expression.
"Yes."
"Well, you'll have to find out when you open it."
"No fair." I see him shake his head out of the corner of my eye.
"Well, we're gonna go talk to your brothers and have fun with you too," Maxwell says, smirking at us. I shake my head and wave at them as they leave.
"How are you?" Ashton asks me.
"Tired."
"The party just started."
"It's very exhausting getting ready for a birthday party."
"Well, you look beautiful."
"Thank you. You look good too." In turn, I'm facing him instead of standing next to him. "Are you ever going to wear glasses? "
