Ruby's POV

Walking down the hallway I follow the crowd of students to the lunch room. In my last class, the girl I sat next to told me how they had seats outside and some inside but most go outside since the teachers don't go out there.

I tested my sisters to meet out there for lunch. Walking to the lunch line area I pick out a packaged salad it honestly seemed the safest option. Everything else looks like it could kill me.

I walk out checking my phone waiting by a column for my sisters.

"Hey, Ryan." I hear. I of course ignore it since it's not for me.

"Ryan." The boy's voice gets closer to me as I continue to look at my phone.

"Rory hey." The boy stands in front of me causing me to raise my head.

"Can I help you?"

"Yeah, I wanted to ask you if you wanted to sit with me and my friends today." He gives me a sweet smile. His bright blonde hair seems almost white in the sunlight.

"Why?"

"You're new and I thought I could be your first friend." Of course, I could tell him that I'm not Ryan but the embarrassment people show is hilarious. Plus I got a text saying the rest are coming outside.

I don't get a chance to respond before he starts to ramble about how I don't have to sit with him but the option always stands. When he stops to take a breath he freezes and stares behind me. I look behind me to see my sisters walking with their lunch over to me.

"Who's this?" Riley asks me obviously assuming that I know the boy in front of me.

"No-"

"Tristan, a friend of Ryan." He puts his hand awkwardly out to her.

"Classmates were not friends." The actual Ryan corrects him.

"Wait," we all look at him. "You're not Ryan are you?" He looks at me. I shake my head.

"I'm Ruby." He nods with his mouth kinda gaping open.

"Hi, I'm Rory and this is Riley. It's so nice to meet one of Ryan's friends." Rory jumps in front of us introducing herself to him with her usual peppy personality.

"Wow, you all look the same." We all roll our eyes but Rory who is two nice.

"Yeah, were identical quadruplets," I inform him as he nods.

"Did you have a reason to trying to talk to me?" Ryan asks him impatiently.

"Oh, yeah I was wondering if you wanted to sit with me and my friends at lunch. If you want to your sisters can come with."

"Of course, we'll come," Rory interjects. Tristan leads us over to his table of another four boys. One has tan skin, black hair, and dark brown eyes. One has pale skin, light blue eyes, and light blonde hair. One boy has an olive complexion, green eyes, and brown hair. The last boy has the same features but lighter-colored eyes. Definitely related.

"Guys this is Rory, Ruby, Riley, and Ryan." He counts us off on his fingers. "Girls this is Sam." The black-haired one.

"Axel" The blonde one.

"Lucas" The first brunette.

"Zach" The last boy. Tristan sits down causing us to sit down as well.

"Zach and Lucas are cousins, by the way," Tristan tells us.

"How old are you girls?" Sam asks us.

"15," Rory answers for us.

"When did you guys move here?"

"Last week but our Dad wanted us to settle in before we started school."

"Any other siblings?"

"Yes we have 6 older siblings. 4 are in school with us."

"Oh... who are they?"

"Milo and Levi then Jake and Blake." With Rory saying this the boys all freeze.

"Bertinelli," Sam says and kinda asks.

"Yeah."

"Damn," Lucas says from next to me.

"What do you mean?" I ask him.

"The Bertinelli twins have quite the reputation in this school."

This left us all confused but they refused to answer any more questions. We all sat and ate lunch taking with them. Tristan talked with Ryan the whole time while she barely said a word as usual.

When lunch was over we dispersed as Axel walked with me and Ruby to history class.

The rest of the day went by nice and easy we had study hall together and used that time to catch up. Ryan and Riley did their homework while talking with us.
