Rory's POV
Vinnie: Please leave me alone I have school.
Me: You actually pay attention.
Vinnie: Goodbye Ro.
Damn, I never even got to ask my question. I just wanted to know when his birthday was, Jake would know. Leaving my room I walk over to Jake's room. I learned to knock on his door, you never know what kind of scary thing is behind his door.
"Come in, Rory."
"Hi, Jakey."
"What have we talked about?"
"Not to call you Jakey."
"What did you do?"
"Called you Jakey."
"What will you do in the future?"
"Call you Jakey." He sighs and throws his head back.
"What do you want Rory."
"I was texting Vincent and he ignored me so I wanted to ask you when his birthday is."I rock back and forth on my heels waiting for his answer.
"Why?"
"So I can give him a present."
"Just ask him yourself."
"Fine." I lay down on his bed next to him.
"Is Vincent a part of the mafia too?" He chokes before clearing his throat.
"I forgot you know about that. Yeah, he knows, Uncle Azazel is the Don of the Italian mafia."
"Does he know we know about it?"
"No, we haven't told them yet."
"Do you want to freak him out?" He looks at me before rapidly nodding his head. I pull out my phone and go back to his contact.
"His contact name is Vinnie"
"Yep."
"What's mine?"
"Jakey"
"What's everyone else's?"
"Blakey, Oli, Jessie, Ri, Ry, Ru, Millie, and Levi."
"Why is Levi's the only normal one?"
"I couldn't think of a nickname" He laughs.
Me: Do you think mafias are real?
Vinnie: What no? Why?
Me: Just curious.
Me: What mafia would you be a part of? I would be a part of the Italian mafia.
Vinnie: Why Italian
Me: Then I could learn the language.
Me: Do you think the mafia has assassins.
Vinnie: No why would those exist.
Me: I want to become an assassin.
Vinnie: Why
Me: Why not? Would you want to become an assassin?
"He's texting me" Jake shows me his phone.
"What's he saying?"
"He's asking if we said anything about the mafia around you."
"Tell him no and ask why." I'm getting all giddy this is fun.
