Ryan's POV
Yeah, uniforms are not my thing. Last night our Dad told reminded us about the private school's uniforms.
It is a simple black skirt with black tights. A white button-up shirt has stripes going up in a dark blue. A black blazer with the school crest on the left pocket. Thankfully you can choose your own shoes. I paired it with some black ankle boots.
I pull my hair up in a ponytail, I hate having my hair in my face during school at least. I decided to do some light makeup that made me look more alive. I simply did my eyebrows, and mascara and added some light blush.
When we got here my blue and grey room's closet was pretty empty. I always had clothes to wear but I never had a lot especially not enough to fill this large space. After our shopping trip, my closet is still not full but almost every section has something in it.
When shopping Blake would catch me looking at something and he would put it in his arms or the basket half the stuff I didn't even like and had to convince him it wasn't what I wanted.
Dad last night gave us a run down of the rules for school. It's the usual, keep up your grades, no fights, respect our teachers. I could just feel Riley rolling her eyes when he was telling this to us. The fighting point of his was directed at her.
Grabbing my grey backpack I leave my room and go downstairs. I have my phone in my hands. Yeah, my phone. A few nights ago Dad gave us each a phone, mine was a light blue and had a clear case with some random flowers on it.
I enter the kitchen to see everyone but my sisters. I know that Riley is awake and probably doing Rory's hair right now. I sit down on the side of Levi as Jessica sets a bowl of cheerios in front of me. Over the week I've gotten familiar with their routines.
Jessica makes breakfast most days only not on weekends when we have later and bigger breakfasts. The maids will make breakfast on weekends and then they go home, they make dinner on weekdays with their chores.
Walking into the kitchen Ruby takes a seat next to me leaving the last two for Riley and Rory. Jessica gives Ruby a bowl of cut-up fruit. I can hear the older siblings and Dad talking about work while the rest of us eat in silence. Ruby has a cute pair of boots on that has a bigger heel than mine. She has a little more makeup than I do but she likes to do her makeup, her hair is in a ponytail but it is curled.
"Morning everyone" Rory walks in skipping and taking her seat at the end of the table while Ruby and Riley box her in. Riley gets a bowl of fruit loops while Rory gets cheerios like me.
I finish my bowl and put it in the sink rinsing it out.
"You guys ready for school?" Jessica asks us while sitting down.
"Yes," Rory says.
"No." The rest of us say at the same time as Rory. Oliver chuckles a little before checking his watch.
"Time to go everyone." We all get up putting our dishes away. The boy goes out to a black car before pulling away. We get into an SUV that has a driver for us. Since we can't all fit in one car comfortably we are taking a separate car to school. We take off chatting a little bit before pulling into the extravagant school.
The large building looks rather modern but has kids swarming campus. Last night I looked up facts about Brimstone Academy.
I know. The school was founded some fifty years ago and became the more prestigious school in the state. It recently had a remodel, where it was made more modern and dependable.
Stopping in front of the school we wait while a few students' eyes catch our car. When Riley opens the passenger door to get out we all follow suit.
"Have a good day, Miss Berteilli." Our driver, Evan, calls out before pulling away from us. We stand in front of the school before walking in. We haven't seen our brothers yet but who cares we can manage on our own.
Walking in we find the front office after a struggle. You know in normal schools the office is the like the first thing you see but not here. A large corridor where kids are hanging out is where you are welcomed to. The corridor is sectioned off into three hallways and then a stairwell.
We walk for a minute before finding a small sign pointing in the direction down one of the hallways. We walk down passing a few doors that have some names that I don't pay attention to. We make it to a door that has an office printed on it.
We walk in and find an older-looking woman at a desk on her computer. When we walk in she looks at us in surprise and confusion. Nothing unusual.
"Can I help you, girls?" Her voice is sweet but has a snappy undertone.
"Yes ma'am we are new and we needed our schedules." Rory steps forward speaking to her.
"Names."
"Rory, Riley, Ruby, Ryan Bertinelli." She pales a little when we say our last name. Weird.
"Oh, here you go girls. We have a student coming down to give you a tour." We nod and grab our papers. Rory hands us each our individual schedules.

We compare schedules and find we have a few classes together. Looking at the clock first period has started but it's not the first time we've been late. We wait for a few minutes before a brunette girl walks in. She goes up to the office lady and they whisper to each other.
The lady introduces her as Clara Avon our tour guide. She looks us all over before siling at us and ushering us out of the room. She explains a little bit about the school's layout.
This hallway is the school's staff hallway. This means that all the school's administrators have an office down here, the office is down here, and then the teacher lounge area.
The other two hallways are the first-floor class hallways. They are three total floors in this school and all four grades will use all floors. She shows us a little of each hallway mainly telling us which room numbers are down each.
Clara takes me and Ruby down one of the first-floor hallways. She takes us to Ruby's class first and then mine. She takes the other two with her while I enter class. With class halfway over everyone else is in class drawing all attention to me.
I walk over to the teacher who is at his desk.
"Hi, I'm your new student Ryan Bertinelli."
"Hello, Ms. Bertinelli. I'm Mr. Kurk. You can take a seat next to Tristan. Tristan raise your hand." A boy in the back of the class raises his hand. I walk over to him sitting down. The boy himself has light blonde hair and green eyes.
I look back up as the teacher starts to teach his class again.
"Hey, I'm Tristan." The boy whispers to me.
"Ryan." I give him a short answer as he tries to talk to me all of the class.
I manage to make my way through the school only getting lost once until the lunch bell rings.
