Riley's POV
"Alright, guys we can go." Ruby came down the stairs into the living room where we all were hanging out.
"Hell yeah." Blake and Jake went upstairs with my sisters following behind. Oh great, another party. Who goes to a party in the middle of a school week?
"You coming Riley?" Blake asks me.
"God no, when have I ever gone to one of your parties."
"Your whole high school life will be boring."
"I'm okay with it."
I go up to my room taking off my shoes and letting my hair down.
Ashley: Are you going to the party?
Me: No
I made myself dinner and was watching tv before bed.
The episode ends as the front door slams shut and I hear stomping up the stairs. I exit my room, seeing Ruby running to her room. I look behind her to see Rory and Ryan running after her. They get to her door late as Ruby shuts the door in their face.
"Ruby, please let us in. What happened?" Rory knocks on her door but gets no answer.
"What's going on?" I draw their attention as they look over at me with a sad look.
" We don't know. We were at the party when Ruby left and then she ran out crying. She refused to tell us."
"Where did she go?"
Rory shrugs and goes back to knocking on her door.
"Ruby please let us in." Ryan knocks on her door and leans on it. We wait a few more minutes, knocking before Ryan gives up and moves to go to her room. Ruby opens the door with her cheeks stained with tears, and her nose red.
"Oh Ruby," Rory brings her into a hug as she continues to cry. We walk into her room and sit on her bed.
"Ruby, can you tell us what's wrong?" I ask her gently.
She blubbers while trying to talk to us.
"Ok calm down Rubs. How bout I ask and you nod or shake your head ok." She nods her head and holds Ryan's hands and lays her head in Rory's lap. I can tell she's too upset to actually speak to us.
"Did something happen at the party?" She nods.
"Was it another girl?" She shrugs.
"Was it a boy?" She nods.
"Do you know him?" She nods and more tears fall.
"Do we know him?" She nods and sniffles.
"So it was a girl and a boy?" She nods.
"Do we know the girl?" She nods.
"Who was it?"
"Clara and Bradley." She mutters barely audible for us to hear.
"What did Clara and Bradley do?"
"They- they were together."
"He cheated on you?" Ryan asked despite us knowing the answer.
That bastard. And I never got the chance to convince her to dump him since he was awful to her. Damn it he took my big sister's thunder.
"Yeah. I thought he really liked me you know." Ruby sniffled.
"Hey it's okay he doesn't deserve you." Rory gives her a generic response.
"How did you find out?" Ryan asks her causing her to cry some more.
