After a good fifteen or so minutes, we arrived at Auradon Prep. If I'm being honest, Auradon looked like the kind of place where people should live. The sky was bright and blue, the trees were green and there were fruits of every color hanging from the trees, the ground was clean, it was just much better than the Isle. But, there's one thing that I absolutely disliked immediately.

"Welcome to Auradon Prep, goodness doesn't get any better," I read the welcoming sign before sighing, "I'm sure we'll fit in perfectly."

I turned away from the window and spotted the others' reactions. Evie and Carlos were the most excited, especially Evie. The girl has been waiting for her Prince Charming since birth. Jay was looking out of the window, curious by everything he saw, and the corner of his lips was lifted subtly. Then there was Mal. The purple-haired girl was staring down at her lap and her fingers were tapping her knees at a specific pace.

I sighed quietly, knowing it was an action she made when she was deep in thoughts. I know for a fact that her thoughts included getting the wand and impressing her mother. Ever since I met Mal, she had been doing anything she could to impress her mother. I don't know if Maleficent was being a prick or a strict mother but (I doubt the latter, to be honest, I'm not sorry), she never was impressed by Mal's effort. I remembered clearly when my mother praised Mal for doing good in school (yes, we do have school on the Isle, it's not good but at least all of the children on the Isle learn how to read), the girl cried. Seriously though, why was it so hard for Maleficent to even appreciate her own daughter?

Without letting the others notice, I discreetly placed my hand on Mal's and grasped it firmly. Mal looked up to me in confusion and I whispered, "Don't think too much, M. We're definitely getting the wand." Mal looked stunned for a moment before she returned the grip and nodded at me.

"That's mine!" I flinched when I heard Jay shouting all of a sudden. Then I saw Jay and Carlos fighting over a piece of cloth? What in the-

Carlos grunted and pulled the fabric closer to him, "I saw it first!"

"Mine!"

"No, mine!"

Afterward, they turned from the push-and-pull to wrestling for the piece of cloth. I didn't even bother stopping the two 'cause I am so done with them. Then I saw that the car had pulled over in front of a castle with a bunch of people welcoming us.

A while later, I saw the driver getting out of the car and I immediately snatched the fabric from them before throwing it on the driver's seat. I glared at the two boys and stated, "Listen, you two. We are here as the representation of the Isle. I want you two to be as presentable as you can right before you go outside and if you don't," I made a neck-slicing motion before continuing, "You're done. Am I clear?"

The boys nodded and started to fix their clothes and hair. Then the driver came and opened the door for us. Mal, Evie, and I got out of the car first, and Jay and Carlos followed after we got out. I glanced at them from my side vision and saw they fixed themselves up quite nicely. I nodded internally before plastering a fake but polite (I think?) smile on my face.

Then a woman wearing a periwinkle blue dress stepped forward and greeted us with a smile, "Welcome to Auradon! I am the Headmistress of Auradon Prep, Fairy Godmother at your service."

I raised an eyebrow and made eye contact with Mal. Jackpot. "Fairy Godmother? Wow, as in the legendary fairy who assisted Cinderella in going to the Ball?"

"Yep. That's me." She smiled at me, kind of flattered by what I said.

"Right. You know, I've always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared, out of nowhere." Mal exclaimed and laughed, "And with that sparkly wand, and a warm smile."
