It was nearly night after I took my time in the shower room to get rid of the sweat and dust I gained from the swords class. The shampoos and the shower gels (the lavender ones are my favorite) were amazing; I have said this with the others and I'll say it again, fight me.

And now, I was on my way back to my dorm. While I was walking in the empty corridor, I waved my hand, and my hair immediately dried up magically of course. As I was raising my hand, I saw the snake bracelet - which was Vasper in his lifeless form - and remembered that I was supposed to return Vasper to the trophy.

"Yikes, sorry buddy." I whispered at the still form of Vasper, "You are going to be back to your trophy in no time."

The snake's eyes glowed as if he was answering me. Just a few moments later, I arrived back at my dorm and I opened the door without hesitating, knowing that either Mal or Evie had already arrived back to our room.

"Ah, Vae! Good timing, back me up here." Mal's cried out in relief after seeing me appearing in the room.

"What's going on?" I questioned, looking around to clear my confusion and I noticed Jane (with a new hairstyle that's basically done by Mal, I bet) lying lifelessly on my bed, "Hi there, Jane. Nice hair, by the way."

Jane immediately sprung up from my bed and she looked at me expectantly, "You really think so?"

"Yeah, I mean it's ... complimenting you." I gave her a brief smile before turning to Mal, "What were you saying again?"

"Mal thinks that having a boyfriend is overrated and she doesn't need one." Evie answered in Mal's stead while sewing, "What do you think, Vae?"

I placed my bag next to the table and shrugged, "Well, I mean I never had a boyfriend before-"

"What? How is it possible?" Jane exclaimed and stared at me in disbelief.

"Because I'm not interested in finding one? If that's the answer you're looking." I answered Jane like it was the most obvious thing before sitting at Evie's bed, "As I was saying, I never had a boyfriend before so I can't say exactly say that boyfriends are overrated BUT," I paused and stopped Mal from complaining, "Having a boyfriend does seem to be time-consuming and there's my answer."

Evie rolled her pretty brown eyes before panic appeared in them, "Oh no, I forgot to do Chad's homework. Oh no, no no."

"And that is exactly what I mean," Mal smirked triumphantly and resumed her sketching.

"Am I missing something?" I looked at the panicked girl, puzzled, "And why are you doing someone else's homework, E?"

Evie pulled out a book and she gave me a quick smile before turning back to the book, "Chad said we could hang out if I finish all of his homework."

"He wha- Oh my goodness. I can't even believe what I am hearing right now." I threw my hands up and let out an irritated sigh.

Then a knock sounded on the door and a familiar Chinese short-haired girl came in with a cheery smile, "Hi, I'm Lonnie. Oh, you're here too, Vae."

I gave her a smile and a wave before introducing her to the others, "Mal, Evie, this is Lonnie. Her parents are Mulan and Li Shang. She's in my class and her father's my instructor, too. Say hi, guys."

Evie gave the girl a smile and returned to doing Chad's homework while Mal just raised an eyebrow at her. Lonnie gave me a smile of gratitude and continued, "Anyways, I love what you did with Jane's hair. And I know you hate us and you're, uh, evil. But, well, do you think you could do mine?"

Mal looked up from her drawing and stared at Lonnie like she was crazy, "Why would I do that for you?"

"I'll pay you 50 dollars."
