"YOU'RE LATE." Andrea's voice is bitterly sharp in Jungkook's ear. Jungkook knew how serious she was about punctuality. He had to be in front of her on the dot every morning or be worked to the bone, but he had a good reason for being late. He was up 'til midnight simply talking to his parents, at first about her and then about other problems in his life.

Jungkook could see that the heavens in her eyes weren't happy with him. They burned with the wrath of the divine and he found it sexy. She was such a Southside girl but in all the greatest ways possible. He knew the moment he started catching feelings for her he should have broken things off, but Jungkook figured it would soon pass as any young obsession would. He would look back at these moments in the future and look back at it as nothing more than some steamy fling he had in the prime of his life.

"I was talking to my parents about you. Ended up staying up later than I thought I would." He didn't know why he had to specify that he was talking about her, it had simply tumbled from his lips before he had a chance to catch it through his filter.

He can see the subtle shift in her expression from anger to skeptical curiosity. Her arms are crossed tightly over her chest. "What, Honey, you suddenly head over heels for me now? Talking to your parents about me?" It was no little thing to be staying up late talking to your parents about someone. On top of that, he had kissed her last night unwarranted.

Honey. She was back to calling him Honey. Jungkook's cheeks went flush in red. He scoffed, rolling his eyes sarcastically. "Yeah, I'm totally in love with you, Dre. I lay in bed swinging my feet while I watch your matches. I have a framed picture of you on my bedside table so I can kiss it before I go to sleep too." Now she's "Dre" to him. The intimacy of her nickname against his lips is hot in her ears. She wonders how he'll sound moaning it in her ear.

Andrea turned on her heels, ready to begin their jog through the brown, icy slush that covered Chicago. "It's no excuse to be nearly 20 minutes late. Let's go." She's not happy with him and he can tell. She doesn't even wait for him to stretch before beginning to jog away from him, ponytail of locs swinging behind her.

"Aww, come on! Gimme a break, coach." Jungkook quickly chases after her, feet pounding against the ground to catch up. Every time he matches her pace, side by side, Andrea speeds up just to maintain her place in front of him. She's upset. She expects better of him. Their regiment is rigid and if their less than professional relationship was getting in the way then it would have to end.

Andrea ignores him the entire jog to the gym. She renders his existence moot, completely null until she chose to acknowledge it again. Until then, Jungkook kept trying to get her to forgive him for his indiscretion. He figures she has to pay attention to him once they get to the gym. He's the only one who has the key to get in.
