Optimus was pushed into a semi-dark room by Skytread. He stumbled over his pedes for a moment before catching himself, and he turned to look at the snickering Decepticons. The door slid closed. The Autobot turned to look around the room.
It was quite small with a singular light on the ceiling, an examination table directly under it. There was a terminal close by, and a small cart of sharp tools, some covered by energon. Optimus backed up to the door, optics darting around for any threats. Out of the darkness, he could see a singular yellow glow looking directly at him.
"Hello, Autobot." A monotone voice spoke.
The Cybertronian stepped out of the shadows. He was large and purple, with a differently-shaped helm that contained a singular yellow optic. One of his servos was replaced with a purple blaster, a cord connecting it to his back. He had a Decepticon insignia on each of his bulky shoulder-pads.
"I'm guessing you're Shockwave." Optimus said, glaring at the Decepticon.
"Your assumption is correct." Shockwave said.
The Decepticon approached the Autobot, taking long, slow steps towards him. Optimus tried backing up again, but his pede only hit the door behind him. He felt trapped, paralyzed with fear, but he kept a glare in his optics and stared at Shockwave's optic. The larger Cybertronian grabbed his arm, easily dragging him to the examination table. The Autobot tried fighting against him – punching his arm, kicking his legs, thrashing around – but it was no use. Shockwave shoved his blaster-servo under Optimus' chin, focing his helm upwards to expose his neck-cables. He stopped resisting in fear that he'd be shot and killed. The Decepticon scientist looked down at him, his singular optic showing no emotion.
"Stop trying to evade my grasp. You will not escape." The scientist said sternly.
Then he continued dragging the Autobot to the table. He forced him to lay on the table, cuffing his servos and pedes down. Shockwave walked away from the Autobot, going back into the darkness, as if looking for something. He came back a few moments later with something in his servo. It seemed to be a purple cord with two ends that looked like it connected to something. Shockwave padded to the terminal nearby, kneeling by it and connecting one end of the cord into the side. He straightened and started typing at the terminal.
"What are you going to do to me?" Optimus asked.
"I am going to use my technology to enter your memory files and find the information I need." Shockwave explained, "I can assure you that you will experience pain if you resist my procedure."
Enter my memory files? Optimus thought.
"Well, you won't find much." He said, "I don't have many memories for you to look at."
"Illogical. The Cortical Psychic Patch can access memory files that cannot be retrieved by the host." The Decepticon scientist said, looking up at him, "You cannot hide anything from me, Autobot."
Optimus sighed. After another astro-cycle, Shockwave grabbed the other end of the cord and dragged it to the examination table. He kneeled next to the table and connected the end of the cord into the bottom of the table. Optimus felt something peirce the back of his helm, and he groaned. All of a sudden, the room started getting darker and there was ringing in his audio receptors. He tried to stay online, but wasn't able to fight against it, and his vision and hearing faded.
The world was dark for a long time. He couldn't see anything, and the ringing in his audio receptors was faint. Suddenly, there was a bright flash, and he was in a small room. There was a reinforced window at the back of the room, with a berth in a corner by the door, a desk by the window, and a stash of energon cubes across from the berth. There was a Cybertronian by the window, looking outside as the sounds of shouting and blaster-fire came closer. It was Alpha Trion.
