My mission to avoid Jonas has been successful for the past week. I havn't seen him since the day at the Cafe, and I'm hoping that I can get back into my normal routine where he doesn't just show up out of the blue.

I hate to admit it, but I miss it. His occasional presence and stupidly annoying nickname. I miss it.

I miss him.

But, I can't let myself think that far, otherwise I will end up skipping more than just one day of school.

I'm currently sitting in the music room, staring at the worn Piano keys as my fingers rest on them, twitching as I decide what to play.

This happens sometimes. I forget how many songs I know how to play, and my mind goes blank as I try to remember.

It's honestly frustrating, but it also allows me to sit in peace and enjoy the quiet, dusty smell of the old wood. The piano is my ultimate best friend, and I don't know what I would do without it.  I'v been playing for so long now, and I know that it will always be that constant in my life. The continuity that grounds me and that lets me turn towards it in my desperate times of need, sadness and hell, even happiness.

I can rely on it to always be there. It's my rock, and I hope it will stay that way.

Usually when I sit at the piano, I end up playing this one song that always makes me feel like I'm flying. It's called Qi by Phildel.

It's so flowy and angelic and every time I play it, I never get bored.

I decide to play it, and my fingers are so used to this melody that I can close my eyes and play, knowing the pathways and routes that are now muscle memory to me.

It's a comfort, getting enveloped by such a simple thing, but I can't help it. The music surrounds me and I shiver as I reach the climax of the melody, hearing the crescendo break through the tranquil silence of the room.

Before I end the song, the door opens and I abruptly stop, jumping in my seat. I wasn't expecting anyone to come in because it's break time, and no-one really comes to the music department at break.

Whoever that stupid person is who had to ruin my moment, is going to get a fucking slap. I don't want to deal with people today.

I sigh and peek around the side of the piano to see who's unfortunately decided to barge in and disrupt my alone time.

My eyes involuntarily widen as I take in the tall figure, his eyes piercing mine as he stares at me with an incomprehensible look on his face.

I would recognise those eyes anywhere, with the green rimmed irises and blue coating. There's a glimmer in his eye as he looks at me, surprise on his face.

My eyes travel down further as I take in the rest of his appearance.

He's wearing a suit.

A goddamn fucking burger licking suit.

God help me.

Well, he's holding his blazer in his hand, and wearing no tie which makes him look even better.

I swear I'm gonna melt right now.

I swear I'm gonna melt right now
