Harry lay on his bed at Hogwarts, thinking back to the vacation he had just spent. When Charlie had arrived at his house the night after Christmas, they had talked all night, cuddling, but not having sexe. The redhead had confided his sorrow related to the loss of his little brother and how much seeing his family on the ground following this tragedy touched him. He had told of his role as a leader of the resistance abroad during the war and the battle against Lestrange and his death eaters that had nearly led him to his grave. He had detailed his work with dragons, showing his love for these fantastic beings as well as for Romania, the country he now considered his own.

Harry had told of his childhood with the Dursleys, his discovery of the magical world and his own history. He had described the trials he had shared, almost always with Ron and Hermione, during his school years and the year of searching for the horcruxes. He had talked about the last battle, the choices he had to make, the deaths, the killing. Finally, he had confided in him about the rise of the Safe Wizards party that worried him, not for himself, but for Teddy and all those like him.

They had cried together, suffered for each other, and comforted each other during that evening, but more than anything they had come closer. Finally, they had fallen asleep in each other's arms. In the morning, Charlie had gone back to the Burrow, promising to come back in the evening, which he had done. Together they had prepared Harry's stay in Romania, much to their delight. They had spent the week like this, seeing each other at night, Charlie arriving once his parents were in bed and leaving before they could suspect his absence. They had spent their nights discovering each other and making love. Finally, they had secretly left together for the reservation where the redhead worked. Harry had loved the mountains, the forests, the village where he could go out without being stared at. During the day he had done his homework and in the evening explored with Charlie... the surroundings or their relationship.

Now back at Hogwarts, Harry thought about the magical moments they had experienced and the last words of his lover before he left "te iubesc inima mea". Harry promised himself to look for their meaning because they had touched his heart, warming him and making him feel more than ever loved by someone.

He fell asleep quickly, lulled by his memories and like the previous times he had shared time with Charlie, very warm dreams of a blond man with white skin flashed through his mind. He was relieved to have cast a silence spell on his bed, as he was accustomed to doing because of the war nightmares he had from time to time, when he woke up cumming in a very unobtrusive way. As with each of these dreams, he found himself unable to go back to sleep, too busy wondering about his relationship.

The days passed slowly until the weekend, he missed Charlie enormously and he became obsessed by the words that the redhead had slipped to him in the hollow of the ear, eclipsing the blond of his dreams. Arriving home on Friday night, Harry rushed to his cell phone, which was not working in the magical world, and typed the four little words into an internet search engine. Not sure of the spelling, it took him about ten minutes to find it, but when he did, he felt himself melting with pleasure. His heart warmed and it was as if a chest containing the truth had just been unlocked. Happy, he hoped that Charlie would respond quickly to the letter he had sent him during the week and that they would be able to meet soon.

Finally, Charlie's reply came a few days later and delighted him: the dragon rider had to replace a colleague and would be traveling between several reserves for a few months, including Scotland and Alaska, and he would make sure they could see each other on those occasions.

Harry's weeks were filled with letters, classes, weekend visits to Teddy, meetings with Borgak to keep track of expenses related to the rehabilitation of his houses, and disturbing news about the Safe Wizards Party. The latter was soaring in the polls, coming very close to the majority that had previously been held by Shacklebolt. Their platform emphasized that they wanted all wizards to be safe, but did not explain how they were going to do it. The only thing they did say was that they intended to tighten regulations on magical creatures. Reading between the lines, Hermione assumed that they would at least want to keep track of all creatures, their descendants and those they had potentially infected. However, it didn't seem to stop with the census, they also seemed to want to change and strengthen the laws concerning all these people, increasing the control the government would have over them, their rights and their lives.

Harry was surprised to find Charlie at home six weeks later, as he left Hogwarts for the weekend as usual. The redhead was waiting for him in the living room, asleep on his couch. The brown-head admired him one moment, finding him as always handsome, then slowly he came to sit at his sides and passed gently his fingers in his hair. At the same time, he kissed his neck.

"Te iubesc Harry," muttered Charlie not quite awake yet.

"I love you too," Harry whispered in his ear.

"You...?" asked the redhead, wide awake now and clearly surprised by his boyfriend's answer.

"Did you think I wasn't going to find out what that meant?" Harry whispered, amused.

"I..." Charlie couldn't think. When he'd said those few words in Romanian he'd immediately blamed himself for letting them out and then thought Harry hadn't paid enough attention to remember them, relieved at the thought because he didn't think his feelings had been returned.

Harry laughed again at his lover's confusion and straddled his hips, his mouth just above his twin, his green eyes gazing into the oceanic plums.

"I love you Charlie," he said simply.

The redhead's heart filled with happiness and he lifted his head to close the distance between their lips. The kiss they exchanged gave them both the impression to have a cloud of butterflies flying in the belly. Quickly their kiss took in passion and a burning desire took fire in them.

They undressed in speed, they were thirsty one of the other. When finally they were skin against skin, they took their time to rediscover each other, to touch each other, to kiss each other and finally to love each other. They repeated their now confessed feelings over and over again and finally cried out their love to each other as they came, Charlie deep inside Harry and Harry between them.

They fell asleep naked on the couch, the fireplace keeping them warm.

Charlie stayed the two nights Harry was allowed to be out of Hogwarts, visiting his parents during the day and coming back to sleep at the brown man's house. He had told his family that he was sleeping at the sanctuary so they wouldn't wonder. Even though he still wanted to tell them about his relationship with Harry, Harry still wasn't ready, and Charlie accepted it because he was over the moon.

When Harry returned to Hogwarts, the blond man came back to his dreams and made him feel ecstatic. Frustrated by this situation, he decided to tell Hermione. Admitting to her that he had been hiding the fact that he was in a relationship with a man for weeks was not easy, but telling her that it was Charlie was a challenge. He made her promise not to tell anyone, especially not Ron, and especially not to say anything about what he was about to tell her. Of course the young woman promised and Harry explained his problem. It did him a lot of good to be able to talk about it and Hermione was extremely understanding, whether it was about his will to keep his relationship secret or about what made him doubt this same relationship when he really felt good with Charlie. She promised to discreetly do some research at the library and keep him posted.

The weeks followed on the same rhythm, interrupted only by the irregular passages of Charlie always followed by the erotic dreams populated by the same blond. The redhead wished more and more to reveal their relation and relaunched from time to time the discussion, but Harry answered systematically no. He was not able to do it, he felt that his dreams meant something and needed to resolve this issue before he could assume their relationship in front of their loved ones.

However, everything changed right after Harry passed his NEWT in June.
