They both doze for a few moments, but they forbade themselves to fall asleep for good, they had to talk. Harry had been turning this around and around, but he didn't know how to start the conversation without it turning into an argument. Charlie was thinking about it too, but he wasn't so wrapped up in it. He watched the reflection of Harry's internal questioning on his face for a while and finally cut his ordeal short.

"I'm sorry inima mea," he whispered, stroking the chest beneath him with his fingertips.

"I'm the one who did everything wrong and you're the one apologizing?"

The black-haired really didn't understand why Charlie was the one apologizing.

"I shouldn't have gotten angry, we should have been able to discuss it calmly together. My anger hurt you physically and morally."

"I earned your anger, I should have found a way to talk to you about it, I'm sorry."

"It's all in the past now."

Charlie paused to hug Harry, reassuring him with the gesture.

"I've had time to think and seeing you unconscious like that yesterday made me realize that I'm not ready to let you get away from me."

The sigh of relief that escaped the lips of the dark-haired man pleased Charlie who smiled before resuming.

"I understand that you're not ready to choose, so here's what I suggest."

Harry looked at him worried, but said nothing.

"We'll continue as before, we'll write to each other as much as possible and when we're together, it's just the two of us. You don't talk to me about him, I don't want to know him... I know enough. There is no mention of him in our letters or when I am there... I want you to be all mine when we are together."

"That sounds like a very good solution," Harry breathed when Charlie finally fell silent.

He was relieved at the terms offered, he had expected worse, fearing that Charlie would ask him to see less of Jasper... He knew he would never be able to keep the vampire at bay when Charlie wasn't around. The bond between them was too strong.

"How much longer can I enjoy you?" he whispered into his groaning dragon rider's ear.

"Unfortunately, I have to go back to Romania tomorrow night."

Harry pouted in disappointment, clearly sad that their time together had been cut in half because of their fight.

"Hey inima mea, don't be sad."

"You stayed so short..."

"I'll be back as soon as I can..."

"Yes, but it will be months instead of days."

"I know it will." Charlie paused, hesitating to say what was on his mind, but finally he felt he had to share it with Harry. "I could come and live here too, the reservation offered me."

Harry looked at his lover, his eyes wide with surprise. He was tempted to accept immediately and beg him not to leave the area again, but he knew that would be hypocritical. Charlie would suffer to see him spend time with Jasper and Harry wasn't ready to write the vampire off yet.

"If I choose you it would be wonderful if you could move here, but you know I'm not ready to choose yet and I wouldn't want you to leave everything to see me here undecided."

The answer hurt Charlie, even though he had expected it. He realized that burying his head in the sand and denying the fact that his lover had feelings for another would not be easy. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath and smiled.
