Harry pushed the door of his house with a relieved sigh. No more cycling for him, he had finally got his driving license after a short month of lessons and had been able to buy a car. Now it was Andromeda's turn to get her license, the witch hadn't had the motivation to cycle the thirty kilometers to the nearest driving school, so she had waited for Harry to drive her. It was about time they had a car, because the supermarket to do the shopping was just as far away. Kreatur had grown what he could in the garden, but it wasn't enough.

They had been living in this isolated house for three months and Harry already understood the fascination that muggles had with their cars!

Teddy trotted over to Harry when he saw him coming and changed his hair to a bright black like his godfather's. The little boy had inherited his mom's shifter gift and had shown the first signs of it just after his first birthday.

"Daddy!" he exclaimed with delight. "Daddy cardboard you."

Harry had felt bad the first time Teddy had called him Daddy, but Andromeda had reminded him that it was part of their cover and that it was safer for Teddy not to know the truth about Remus for now. The young man didn't like the idea, but he knew his now mother-in-law was right, it was better for him to get used to it now.

He checked with his wand that the box was not trapped and opened it. It was the classes he had ordered to brush up on his schoolwork and go to college the following year. Just because he couldn't study magic didn't mean he shouldn't study at all. However, he had to brush up on his skills first and complete the last year of high school like the American muggles. The sight of all those books depressed him in advance, but he knew he could do it, anyway it would keep him busy since for now they were only going out for the bare minimum.

"Well, you're not going to get bored with it!" charred Andromeda.

They were both much more complicit since they moved here, at first the witch had demanded that Harry talk to her about his relationship with Charlie, and since then she was a listening ear when he missed the redhead too much. Harry, on the other hand, hadn't told her about his dreams.

"So the licence?"

"Look outside!" he replied, opening the door for her so she could see the big black SUV parked there. At first Harry had wanted to get something smaller, but the salesman had burst out laughing when Harry had mentioned the area where he lived.

"Wow! Congratulations!"

"Thanks, by the way, tomorrow I'll take you, it's your turn to sign up!" he laughed, winking at her.

Harry went out in the garden with Teddy so that the little boy of a little more than one year old could play with the small pedal car that they had offered him for his birthday.

His eyes wandered to the mountains, his mind recalled the dreams that visited him several times a week. In his dreams he would see Charlie, depressed, arriving in Alaska, being so close to him, but unable to see him, and then usually the image of the redhead would fade to that of a handsome blond man with amber eyes so sad that Harry would want to hug him to comfort him. He always woke up sad and confused, his heart in a vice. The more time passed, the more he was convinced that he could only make Charlie suffer.

He was brought out of his reverie by Andromeda.

"Brigthones just called through chimney, she'll be here in ten minutes."

Harry nodded, still pained by his thoughts.

"Come on Harry, last time she told us the situation was starting to calm down in England, you should be able to talk to him soon."
