Jasper didn't know where he stood. His family had brought him home, but there were too many emotions, everything was getting mixed up with his own feelings. He could feel the connection pulling him painfully toward Harry, more than before. He hoped it was because he had interpreted what he had felt at the lake correctly, but if that was the case why had Harry asked him to leave?

Edward took him by the shoulders.

"He chose you?"

The blond didn't answer him verbally, instead showing him his memories of what had happened at the lake. The telepath began to smile as he felt happiness and relief at seeing what his brother shared with him, but Jasper didn't give him time to speak.

"I don't want to get my hopes up," he whispered.

"In that case we shouldn't have intervened!" belched Rosalie angrily.

The blonde's bitterness hit the empath hard, but it was mixed with a great sadness. This one didn't come from anyone in the room, it came from his bond. Feelings mixed in Jasper as his family debated whether they were right to let Charlie live. The pain was growing, Harry was not well and Jasper knew it was because of Charlie. He texted his wizard to see if he wanted him to come over, but the lack of response increased his own grief. It was becoming difficult for him to control himself when suddenly desire and longing mixed with grief. Jasper knew that Harry was having sex with the redhead. His anger at the thought of anyone touching his mate mingled with the spirits that were heating up and he lost control. He felt Edward tighten his grip on his shoulders, but with a vicious movement of legs and arms, he sent him flying across the room, demolishing a cabinet in the process. He dashed to the window, he had to get to Harry and stop the other one from touching him, but Emmett grabbed his ankle, sending him tumbling to the ground. He didn't have time to get up before his entire family, except for Esme, stopped him. Their emotions were too strong, those of Harry also for which the pain and the pleasure were mixed, without speaking about his own which he did not manage any more to recognize in the middle of this chaos. He was lost in a fog of emotions, his heart hurt, he could not regulate what he felt. He had to see Harry, he had to soothe their bond, he had to make sure he was okay.

He was aware of a few words being exchanged around him as he continued to struggle to reach his mate, but he didn't understand them. He focused on Harry's emotions, the ones he felt in his heart, the only ones he knew who owned. Pleasure rose more and more in his lover, proportionately increasing the pain in his heart. The more it hurt, the less he could manage the fluctuating emotions within him and the more he struggled. He had not yet let go of his power over his family, his conscience prevented him from doing so, but he could feel it disappearing, slowly, giving way to the soldier who was willing to do anything to get what he wanted, to the vampire inside him who had no limits. The emotions were drowning him, engulfing him.

Edward's voice slammed over him.

"Now!"

With relief, Jasper felt several people move away enough that he no longer felt their emotions. This allowed him to regain a small amount of lucidity, there were three people holding him down: Emmett was sitting on his legs, both his hands pressing on his pelvis; Carlisle and Edward were each pressing on an arm and his torso with their hands and each locking a wrist with their legs. The pain peaked in his heart as Harry's pleasure reached its peak. Jasper arched his back as much as he could, screaming in pain. He felt like his heart was being ripped out of his chest, pulled out by the disgruntled link. However, the pleasure disappeared almost instantly, leaving only an extreme sadness in the wizard and calming the pain of the empath. It was still there, but bearable. His body suddenly relaxed, he was no longer able to move, he felt like a rag doll left to rot. Jasper knew he had to see Harry soon, he didn't know what would happen to him if he didn't, but he was sure it wouldn't be good for him. Sadness and fears mixed inside him, but slowly he began to sort them out. His brothers and father were worried about him, Edward was even afraid, and Carlisle was very concerned. The sadness was definitely coming from Harry.
