Dedicated to all my readers. There are so many of you now, that it is almost impossible to chose one. Thank you so much for reading. ❤️

Our phones have been ringing all day. I answered only once, and it was Kate. Sam was with her, and all I could hear was them screaming into the phone. I quickly hung up, and didn't answer another call all day. Maddie on the other hand, had been screaming into her phone to Sierra and Nani for at least an hour before I offered to just pick them up and bring them home. Maddie of course, agreed. So now I am sitting in a living room with three screaming 12 year olds.

"I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS IS GOING TO TOUR WITH ONE DIRECTION!" I am pretty sure Sierra is going to loose her voice.

It is quiet for a minute, (Sierra did loose her voice.) before Nani speaks in a quiet voice.

"You won't forget about us while you are away, will you?" She says, looking in Maddie's direction.

Maddie just looks at her in shock for a second before throwing her arms around both Nani and Sierra and causing them all to fall in a big pile. "Of course not!"

Then Sierra looks up at me. "What about you? Are you gonna let the fame go to your head and forget about us?"

I look down at her with my eyebrow raised and I smirk. I do my best to sound stuck up and snotty. "Nani and Sierra? Never heard of them."

They all giggle before gathering around me on the couch. Then they all jump onto me and give me a bear hug. And in that moment, I wasn't thinking about the dread of having to go a year with a boy band I despise. I was thinking about how happy I am right here, and right now.

Sierra and Nani asked their parents if they could sleep over. Not surprisingly, they said yes. It is now 10:00, and I can still hear them giggling and talking to each other. I decide I should probably be the adult and tell them to go to bed, so I head out of my room and into the pink, sparkly, girl-zone that is Maddie's bedroom. Kate really did do an awesome job.

After knocking, I here a chorus of "Come in." I open the door and see that Sierra and Maddie are on Maddie's bed, and Nani is sitting at Maddie's desk chair, turned towards the two of them. I assume (with the giggling) that they were still talking about the trip. I, on the other hand, have been pushing thoughts of the trip to the very back of my mind. That is the absolute last thing I want to think about right now.

"Girls," I say. "It is 10:00. Shouldn't you be getting your sleep?" I am not too stern because, after all, I am only Maddie's cousin.

"Not until you open your email. We need to know what it says." Maddie replies, and stands up as if to follow me.

"What email?" I ask, confused. I wasn't aware that I had an email that Maddie was interested in.

"The one about the tour. The sent Maddie an email saying that her chaperone had all of the information and schedules." Sierra answered for Maddie.

I knew they wouldn't let me wait until tomorrow to open the email, so I surrendered and walk towards my room with the three trailing behind me like baby ducklings following their mother.

I logged into my computer after making sure they turned around so they couldn't see my password. Hey, you never know what could happen if your password gets out. I opened my email and saw that there was, in fact, a new email from 1Dofficial@email.com

Reluctantly, I click on it. It takes a minute to load, but once it does, I realize why. There had to be at least seven pages of information.

"There, you saw it." I said, turning to the three girls who were peering over my shoulder. As soon as they started to protest, I interrupted them. "We can read it tomorrow, but it is too late to read all this now."

I could tell that they wanted to protest, but kept their mouths shut. I shut my laptop before ushering them out of my room and towards Maddie's. They were all already in their pajamas, and I had left extra blankets and pillows in Maddie's room. I stood at the door, waiting until they were all settled before flicking off the light. I was about to shut the door, when Maddie says "Wait!"

I turn back to face her room, and she throws her arms around me.

"Goodnight." She says, her words muffled in my shirt.

"Goodnight." I reply back, ruffling her hair before she lets go of me. "Now get some sleep, alright?"

She nods and gets back into bed. I turn out the light and shut the door, heading back to my room.

I turn my own light out, and smile at just how happy one little girl can make me.
