"George!" Clay yelled as George walked off from him, "Stop."

The brunette turned around, fear in his eyes, "We were almost caught Dream!"

"I know, it won't happen again-,"

"You can't just prevent people from not seeing us!" George yelled, "Aiden was there, imagine if he saw us!"

Clay stepped forward to touch George's face but was shrugged off.

"You have to stop thinking about Aiden!" Clay raised his voice, "If you keep living in fear that he'll see us, then he will. You need to stop caring so much about about what he's going to do-,"

"Does death mean nothing to you?"  George exhaled shakily, "Because it means a lot to me. I want to live a long, happy life and I can't do that if someone is threatening to take it away!"

"You think you'll be happy if you have to live your life as a lie?" Clay scoffed, "You think you'll love a happy life if you're married to a woman? You really think you'll be happy?"

"I have no choice Dream." George muttered, "We have no choice."

"I have a choice and I want you George. I don't care about Aiden and his useless threats-,"

"Why not? He's fucking serious, do you not see it in his eyes? He will kill us."

"I will protect you George."  The blonde and stepped closer, "I would do anything for you, I wouldn't let you die."

"I would do anything for you too Dream...that's why I need to do this." George trembled, "I would do anything to keep you alive - and that's what I'm doing."

"George-,"

The brunette turned away, "I think we need to stick to the rules from now on." He said firmly, "It's our best change of survival."

Clay's face dropped, "N-no, George please-,"

"I don't want to hear it Dream." The brunette shook his head, "I don't think I could stand seeing you get hurt."

"Clay, can you please stop staring out the window like you're a main character in a movie?"

The blonde shook his head and turned around, seeing Drista standing in his doorway, her arms crossed.

"Oh, sorry."

"What's up with you?" She asked, "You've been like this for the past two days." She shook her head, "I swear, this is what happens when Sapnap's not here."

Clay swallowed, "Yeah, you're right."

Drista rolled her eyes and walked into his room, sitting next to him on his bed. She raised her brow at him and fixed her skirt, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Liar." She huffed, "You're so sad and it's annoying me."

"Then don't look at me."

Drista grimaced, "I wish I didn't have to, but I have to see your stupid face everyday." She got off his bed, "Go do something instead of moping around."

Clay watched his sister walk out of his room before collapsing on his bed. It had been two days since George had talked to him and it was affecting him.

He understood that George was scared, but he didn't understand why he took such far measures to stay off Aiden's radar. He was scared too. He didn't want to lose his life, but he didn't want to lose George. Either way the outcome was difficult.
