TW!

~ Play 'There's No Need' by Towerz ft Sosi ~

Tears ran down Clay's face as he sprinted down the street. George's voice echoed in his head as he bumped into people and stumbled over objects. The twigs in the forest stabbed into his bare feet as he ran quickly. People murmured around him as he ran past, curious to why he was in such a hurry.

Clay wiped his eyes aggressively as the smp came into view. He didn't slow down as he panted heavily, coming around the corner and passed the gate. The loose nail in the fence ripped into his jumper as he ran past but he didn't care. He opened the door aggressively and stomped inside, more tears running down his face.

"Karl!" He yelled, the sound of his voice echoing throughout the empty house.

Clay looked all over the place, not even closing the door. He ran into the next room, it was dark and lifeless. His feet were numb and stung from all the splinters but he didn't acknowledge it.

"Karl, where are you?!"

He scanned the room and went to turn around when he heard someone sobbing in the corner. He froze and looked in the direction of the sobs.

Clay walked over to Karl quickly and crouched down in front of him, pushing his hands away from his face.

"Karl!" He yelled and gripped the boy's top aggressively, shaking him, "Karl, what happened?" Tears ran down his face, "It better not be fucking true!"

Karl's tear stained face was contorted in pain as he let Clay shake him relentlessly.

"KARL!" Clay yelled desperately and shoved the boy harshly into the wall, "TELL ME IT ISN'T TRUE."

The boy uncovered his face and looked up, facing the blonde. He looked at him dead in the eyes, filled to the brim with tears as he sobbed quietly.

Clay's lip trembled as he tightened his grip on the boy. He struggled to see as tears filled his vision. He panted heavily and waited impatiently for Karl to speak.

"It's true." Karl whispered, sniffling uncontrollably.

"How?" Clay shook his head in denial, "I-it can't be. It can't be true. Stop lying!"

"DREAM!" Karl yelled, getting the boy's attention, "LISTEN TO ME!"

The blonde's body trembled as he heard the boy's next words. He let go of Karl and let his hand fall to his side. Tears ran down his face as he slumped to the floor, crying into his hands. He shook his head in denial, wanting to make himself believe it wasn't true, when he knew it was.

It couldn't be true.

He couldn't be...

"Sapnap's dead."

The day was bright, sunny and warm. It fell over the town like it was any other normal day. Laughs were heard from cheerful kids in the distance, the sound echoing from the beach.

However it wasn't a normal day...far from it.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for attending the funeral of the beloved Nicholas Garcia."

Everyone sat down in the plastic chairs, facing the platform with dull faces. Sobs were heard as they listened carefully to minister.

"A young boy who was gone too soon."

Clay felt numb.

He was broken.

He stood at the back of the crowd, his head down and eyes closed. His black suit was ironed perfectly and his shoes shined. He blonde hair fell over his forehead, casting a shadow over his eyes. He clenched his jaw as he heard the minister describe Nick, he clenched his jaw tightly as he heard the minister describe his best friend.
