We both stood quiet, as we processed what had just happened. My breathing was shallow and my heart was rapidly thudding in my chest. The feeling of fright still lingering through my body.

When I had looked inside for some reason, it felt like his pain was devouring me so rapidly and it terrified me out of my mind, yelling at him in that moment felt like the only safe we to save myself and untangle from that horrible feeling.

"I'm sorry." I suddenly said, feeling terrible for what I had just said. I glanced up at him with sad eyes, if he was angry or shocked I couldn't tell. He just looked calm and that made me feel a bit worse.

"What happened?" He simply asked, looking at me with unchanged eyes.

I shook my head. "Nothing."

His eyes then furrowed into worry. "Belle?"

I took a step back. "Please don't do that again."

He nodded, something quickly flickered in his eyes before disappearing. "I won't." He whispered.

"I'm sorry again. I just got scared." I whispered with sincerity.

He shook his head. "I promise Belle, it's okay."

I nodded and looked away. "Who's the girl you've been talking to?" I suddenly asked, trying to change the subject.

He watched me closely for a moment, before shrugging. "Just a friend. Why?"

I shook my head. "Just curious."

"Sure." I heard him quickly say.

I sighed and forced myself to sit down, I still felt so weak from what I had just felt.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I nodded. "What's happening between us? Why do I feel it from you?"

He tightened his jaw before answering. "I don't know Belle."

I stood silent for a moment."Do you feel the same?"

"Yes, but it doesn't hurt as much." He answered, his eyes not tearing away from me. Why was it that sometimes we felt it and other times we didn't?

I sighed and watched him walk over to sit in front of me.

"Your staring." He suddenly said.

I gulped and looked away. "Sorry." I mumbled.

His eyebrows furrows. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked once again, this time I could really sense his worry.

"I just want to know what it is." I answered, once again dodging his question. I then looked around, feeling awkward.

"Can you play something for me?" I heard him ask.

I looked at him in surprise. "Play?" I asked.

He nodded and pointed over near my bed. "Your guitar."

I shook my head. "I don't think you want to hear me play."

He rolled his eyes. "Yes that's why I asked."

I laughed a small short laugh and shrugged, then stood up and walked over to my guitar. I picked it up and sat back in front of Axel. "What song?" I asked.

He shrugged. "Doesn't matter."

"Um I have a song but it's mostly personal." I said talking about the one I hid from Cristian and everyone in the band.

"Sing that one then. If you like." He said.

I nodded. "Okay, but it's not yet finished so don't judge." I said.
