I quickly shook my head, "No that can't be right..my father would've told me."

Axel's eyes softened. "Belle-"

"How are you sure?"

"Uncle William was friends with your mother and he was able to uncover some hidden files of your mother from Era, who's the book keeper for the nephilim."

"So Era knows?"

"Yeah."

"Why would my father keep this from me?"

"He wasn't just keeping it from you. " Axel began slowly.

Grant then pitched in. "Pretty Belle, nothing is really known about your family, all we know is just that your mother was a powerful fallen angel and that your father is a first born nephilim, which makes you really powerful but other then that-"

"All information is kept hidden from all other nephilims and fallen angels. We believe your family did this to keep each other safe." Axel interrupted.

I stood silent, my heart was beating fast. "Nothing is known about my family?" I softly asked, this was to much.

Grant looked at Axel before speaking. "Nope. Not your family history, job occupations, or family tree... nothing and that's from both sides of your family."

I nodded. Why where we hiding ourselves? "Okay wait wait, you said family tree. What about my mother's siblings?" I asked.

Axel looked at Grant with a confused look on his face. "Siblings?" Axel asked.

I stood silent, did they not know? "Yeah my aunt Les and uncle Luis, are they fallen angels too?"

Grant nervously chuckled. "Well, you learn something new every day."

"Are they?" I proceeded to ask.

"Yeah most likely," Axel answered, "But um we've never heard of them."

That was weird, but I decided to ask something else, "So okay if I'm considered powerful, what abilities do I have?'

Axel then smiled. "I bet you know."

I thought back in my life, what differed me from other nephilims? "I heal faster."

He nodded. "Yup and you have the same heightened abilities as me, such as speed, strength, hearing, and seeing."

"Can I control nephilims too?" I asked, remembering his other ability.

He shrugged. "I don't know, you're different and unique, but um some first born nephilims are able to mind control other nephilims, but it takes a lot of energy."

I then took hold of his hand. "Teach me." I said as I looked him in the eye.

He looked down at our hands, surprised by my movement but then nodded. "Okay," He said "Before starting you need to know that there are a few ways to obtain mind control. The first by spoken commands, the second by eye contact, and the third which is the most hardest to achieve is just by thinking. No eye contact or voice command is needed."

"Can you do it?" I asked in curiosity.

"Yes, but I'm far from mastering it. It's what takes the most energy and practice."

I nodded, Axel surprised me more and more each day.

"Okay so we're going to start of by voice command. I want you to use your voice to make Grant follow anything you order him to or tell you anything." Axel demanded.

I nodded, sort of realizing that having this ability can go both ways. Nevertheless I looked over at Grant, who was sitting across from me. "Grant -"
