I looked up at him and took in his visual. He was just sitting in front of me, looking down at his food. "You're so mysterious." I found myself saying.
He looked up at me. "How am I mysterious?" He asked.
I shyly looked down at my spaghetti. "You really want me to answer that?" I asked.
He nodded, "Yes that is why I asked." he answered.
I chuckled and looked up at him. "It's just that I don't know anything about you. I don't know your favorite color, I don't know what's your favorite animal, I don't know anything about you. Except for what you show me, but you don't even express yourself to me very often. "I softly said, then looked down as I remembered what he had said to Grant back at the mountain, "I feel like you're hiding something from me."
He looked away from me and looked down at his plate, staying silent.
"Axel," I whispered, feeling like I maybe had said too much. But he then looked up at me and smiled.
"Okay," He whispered, "I'll tell you something, but after we finish eating."
I softly smiled at him and nodded. We then ate in silence until sunny came. "Here's your bill." She said, checking him out once again. I nodded and Axel took it from her. He looked down and then gently took out his walked and payed. Sunny smiled at him then left.
"How much was it?" I asked.
"27 dollars." he answered. I smiled at him and started to take out my wallet.
"Belle. Stop, this was my treat." He said, looking me straight in the eye. I sighed and nodded. Once he finished he looked up at me. "C'mon let's go." He said.
I obediently nodded and followed him to the parking lot. "Where are we going?" I asked.
"To the park." Axel answered, with a soft smile.
"But it's about to rain." I whispered. I didn't care if it was going to rain, but in the rain I didn't get cold and I didn't want him to notice.
"I know that's why." He mysteriously said. I sighed and nodded.

We now stood by a tree, under the pouring rain. I looked over at him and noticed his silence. "What's wrong?" I asked.
"Nothing, I just. Not gonna lie, I feel a bit guilty for having brought you here." He answered.
I smiled and shook my head. "No it's fine, who doesn't love the rain?" I answered, looking down.
He smiled and nodded then took my wrist and brought me farther into the park. Once deep enough, he stood still so I looked up at him. For some reason I could tell he was wondering why I wasn't even shivering to the cold.
I knew he had brought me here to tell me something, but I needed to get something off my chest first. But what if he ran away from me. Taking a deep breath, I prepared myself for what I was about to say. "Axel." I softly said. He looked down at me, with curiosity. I gulped, but didn't look away. "Are you human?" I asked after a few minutes of silence.
He studied my face, as if looking for a way out. "How can I not be human?" He simply asked.
I licked my lips and looked down. "Because I'm- I'm," I stopped and looked up at him, "I'm nephilim, Axel." I let out a shaky breath before continuing, . "I'm not sure you understand, what being a nephilim is. Um it's a cross breed of an angel and a man. My mom was nephilim so I'm nephilim. well both of my moms are but my dad isn't. I mean I think he's lying cause if he were human I wouldn't be nephilim."
