╭──────༺♡༻──────╮

Soon after their conversation, Jeongin ended up leaving Chan's room so that he could study for his English test.

Chan nearly screamed in his pillow out of happiness once the younger closed the door. Deep down he knew he probably made a mistake asking to be in such a dumb situation but he couldn't help it. It still made him happy.

He tried to calm down and think things through but his mind kept going back to their kisses and that was all he could keep going back to.

He eventually got bored...or more so he got impatient because he found himself at Jeongin's door trying not to scream at how cute he sounded trying to pronounce random phrases in English.

He knocked on the door a couple of times and heard a small "yeah?" in response.

He opened the door and saw him sitting at the small desk in the corner of the room with a bunch of papers and notecards scattered around.

"Do you need any help?"

"No, I'm doing great," Jeongin responded sarcastically.

"Hello, how was your day? Have you eaten anything yet?" Chan asked in English as Jeongin stared at him blankly.

"Hello, my name is Jeongin?"

"Innie," Chan said with a laugh as he moved over to stand next to him.

"I'm trying," He replied with a sigh as he watched Chan pick up the flashcards that he had made.

"Do you want any help?"

"Don't you have better things to do?"

"Nope," Chan replied as he thought for a moment, blankly staring at the flash cards. His little relationship, or whatever Jeongin is calling it, may not last for long so, of course, he wanted to make the most of it while he could.

He wanted to act as if they were actually together even though he knew they never would be.

"I mean- if you want to help then I'm not against it."

"How about...each time you get one right...I kiss you."

"What if I don't want you to kiss me?" Jeongin asked back.

"Then you wouldn't have agreed to start this little fake relationship thing."

"Good point but I don't know the answer to any of them."

"That's why I'm helping you study," Chan laughed as he held one of them up for Jeongin to read which he simply received a blank stare in response.

He wasn't exaggerating when he said that he didn't know the answer to any of them but after about an hour of going over them he finally seemed to catch on and eventually got one right.

So Chan kissed him.

And he had to stop himself from screaming as he had forgotten that the older had said that before they began studying.

"This is weird," Jeongin mumbled as he quickly hid his face in his hands.

"Are you blushing?" Chan asked as he tried to move his hands away, "I thought rule 8 was 'no catching feelings.'"

"I would never catch feelings for you. This is just weird."

"I know you wouldn't," Chan replied with a forced laugh, "but why do you keep saying that? Was it weird when you and Jisung started doing this too?"

"No, but that's completely different. Jisung and I were barely friends before we started it. You and I have been friends for years."

"Hmm...I guess so," Chan hummed as he held up another flash card and Jeongin answered correctly which of course resulted in another kiss.

To say the least, Chan's study method ended up being quite effective considering that the younger eventually ended up remembering all of them.

"I think I might actually pass for once," Jeongin said with a smile once he said the last one correctly and Chan moved away.

"I would hope so."

"Thank you, baby," Jeongin said and placed one more kiss on the older's forehead.

Chan couldn't help but stare at him once he moved away the slightest bit. He rarely got the chance to admire him up close like this previously and now he wanted to take it every chance he got.

"We're allowed to go on dates, right?" Chan asked despite the fact that he was scared of what the response would be.

"Umm...I don't think me and Jisung ever necessarily went on dates but I guess it's not against any of the rules."

"Oh, okay," Chan replied as Jeongin blankly stared at him, wondering if he was going to say anything else about the subject.

"Why are you asking?" He glanced up at him.

"Well...Would you like to go on a date with me?"

"Only because you haven't been on one in forever, right?"

"Hey! It hasn't been THAT long."

"Uh-huh....sure."

"Jeongin!"

"Hmm?"

"Just answer the question."

"Fine. Yes, I will go on a date with you," Jeongin finally replied with a small laugh. "Eww, I never thought I would say those words to you."

"Eww?" Chan questioned, acting offended although maybe it was to hide that the comment did actually hurt a bit.

"It's just weird," he explained for what felt like the millionth time in Chan's mind. "But I think it still might be fun."

"I'll make sure that it will be," Chan smiled and kissed his forehead before rushing out of his room fast enough to hide the enormous smile that appeared on his face upon Jeongin actually agreeing.
