Jeongin woke up the next morning with a pounding headache. He moved closer to whatever was next to him with a small sigh.

"Good morning baby," he heard a familiar voice say which immediately caused him to move away and rub his eyes a bit, reaching over to the side of his nightstand to get his extra pair of glasses.

"How did I get here?" He asked, not moving away from the older's arms which were still loosely wrapped around his waist. Most likely too tired to fully comprehend his current situation, he simply moved even closer to him and let his eyes fall shut again.

"You got very drunk and Jisung brought you here."

"Oh," he mumbled, opening his eyes to see Chan offering him a few pain pills and a bottle of water which he quickly took.

Once he handed the bottle back to Chan and was about to lie down again, he got stopped.

Chan gently cupped both sides of his face, gently kissing him. He showed a small smile once he moved away but Jeongin stared back at him in shock.

"What was that for?"

"I promised that I would give you a kiss when you wake up in the morning."

"I have a boyfriend. I was also drunk. Please don't do stuff like that anymore," he explained dryly.

"That's not what drunk you was telling me last night."

"Exactly, because I was drunk."

"Hey, Innie?" He asked casually, earning a hum in response.

Next thing he knew Chan was practically on top of him, pinning his arms above him as he sat on his lower stomach.

"I know you might think that I would be all over this cold, flaky personality but I'm actually getting pretty tired of it."

"Then just let me go back to Jisung's," he said in an almost whisper, his face blood red due to their current position.

"No. I'm tired of you avoiding me."

"Then maybe you should have thought about that before kissing me right before I went on a date."

Jeongin kept his blank expression, Chan was honestly surprised by how well he was holding up. The old Jeongin, or the one he knew before he left for the summer, had always hated confrontation. He would cry if someone corrected him in the wrong tone. He most definitely wouldn't be handling this conversation well but he seemed strangely okay.

"I'm sorry that I kissed you before your date. I'm also sorry that I didn't want you to go on that date in the first place. Why did you even want to go on that date in the first place? According to yourself, you have a crush on someone else already."

"Chan, please just let me go back to Jisung's. I don't want to talk about this right now," Jeongin looked past Chan and at the ceiling instead.

"You never want to talk about it. You realize that things wouldn't be so weird between us if we would actually have a conversation with each other, right?"

Chan was aware that he wasn't the nicest. He knew he was being rather hard on him but he was beyond tired of their stupid miss communications. He didn't want to be the one who told Jeongin what he had said when he was drunk. He wanted Jeongin to tell him himself. He wanted to have a normal conversation about everything that seemed to be going through Jeongin's head but for some reason having conversations such as these ones had always been a difficult thing for him.

"I don't want to," he shook his head and Chan immediately felt guilty once he saw the tears appear in his eyes and slip down his face.

"I'm sorry," Chan immediately apologized, getting off of him and allowing him to set up. He gently wiped his tears away.

Jeongin continued crying but to Chan's surprise wrapped his arms around him for a hug in which the older gently rubbed his back.

"I'm so sorry. I just really...miss you."

"D-do you remember when I told you that I had a crush on s-someone in freshman year? And I t-told you that she rejected me."

"Mhm, of course, I do," Chan said quietly, hoping this was going where he was hoping it was based on what he said about having a crush on him since freshman year.

"A-and you said that she was stupid then you said that y-you would take me on a date instead."

"Then we went to build a bear and got matching plushies and got ice cream," Chan added.

"Do you remember the rest of it?" Jeongin mumbled into his chest.

Chan did, there was no way he could have forgotten it because at the moment he was terrified that they were going to ruin their friendship.

He assumed that he had forgotten about it or that they had at least come to a silent agreement that they would never bring it up.

However, compared to the things that they had done now, it wasn't even that big of a deal.

"We almost kissed but I panicked and moved away."

"I never had a crush on a girl," Jeongin finally admitted and Chan swore he felt his heart skip a beat.

The blue-haired boy moved away a bit and finally looked Chan in the eyes, still having tears fall from his own.

"I don't actually have a crush on Christian," Chan suddenly blurted out, feeling as though it would make Jeongin feel better if he knew about his lie as well.

"You don't?"

"I don't even know Christian. He's Felix's friend who I used because I was upset that you asked another guy out while we were on a date."

"Wasn't that part of the deal though?"

"It was. You didn't do anything wrong. I was just jealous."

"Why?"

"The only reason why I agreed to be your fake boyfriend in the first place was because I thought it was the closest I would ever get to actually dating you," he finally admitted.

Jeongin's face turned a bright shade of red as Chan let out a small laugh and pinched the side of his cheek.

"We really suck at talking to each other, don't we?"

"Yeah...for some reason conversations like this always went worse in my head. Are you sure I'm not still asleep?"

"If you don't have a crush on a girl then who did you like?" Chan questioned with a teasing smile.

Jeongin glared at him, "shut up."

"I just wanna know who you liked."

"I like you."

"Well, you're my crush from Australia."
