"Okay so you either are hooking up with Jeongin or you're sleeping with someone else in order to forget about him," Seungmin said as he glanced at the dark marks on Chan's neck. "Which one?"
"I guess you'll never know."
"But if it were someone else then you must have managed to fall in love with him very quickly because you've been extremely happy."
"Woah- who are those from?" Felix asked as he sat down beside Seungmin.
"No one."
"Woah, no way. Is Jeongin coming to sit with us?" Seungmin asked over dramatically and Chan could hear Jeongin let out a sigh as he sat down next to him.
"Jisung is somewhere with Minho, Changbin is being Changbin and Hyunjin is studying."
Felix was about to ask what 'Changbin being Changbin' meant but Seungmin of course beat him to speaking considering his crush was mentioned.
"Is he studying for math?"
"Yeah, he's really stressed about it. You should go help him."
Felix pouted at the very thought as he watched his best friend's face light up pink.
"I can't just go up to him and offer to help him study."
"You definitely could," Jeongin shrugged. "Hyunjin is super sweet, probably the least intimidating of Jisung and his friend group and he for sure wouldn't say no."
"Where is he?"
"Sitting under that big tree in front of the music classrooms."
"Fine," Seungmin stood up and they were all quite surprised when he stood up and began walking in that direction. Seungmin had been crushing on Hyunjin for about a year without ever saying a word to him.
Between Hyunjin's looks, amount of community service events he went to, the fact that he didn't sleep around with people at school, and would usually always take time to explain something if someone asked, it was hard not to have a crush on him.
He seemed perfect.
And Seungmin loved the idea of a perfect person and having a perfect relationship.
So much so, that it was a bit blinding.
"Felix, are you okay?" Chan asked, noticing how his mood dropped the moment Hyunjin was mentioned.
Jeongin never really thought that Felix's feelings towards Seungmin were that deep until he saw several tears fall from his eyes. Then it started to hit him just how mean he'd been to Felix since Chan had gotten back from Australia.
Even now, Felix would actively text him or try to have conversations with him in the hallway but Jeongin would always ignore him.
"Why does he like someone who he's never even spoken to before more than me?" Felix questioned.
It started flooding Jeongin's mind how he felt about Chan. How he felt thinking someone had a crush on someone he had only known for a month and a half. That one night he cried from "homesickness" wasn't actually because he was homesick, after all.
"Lix, maybe you should start distancing yourself from him a bit. I don't think you clinging to his side every moment of the day is gonna help anything." Chan said despite the fact that he knew it wasn't the greatest advice. Or at least not the easiest to take.
"That would be difficult considering we live in the same dorm."
"You could stay at our dorm for a few nights," Jeongin quietly offered which only seemed to make Felix even more upset.
"I don't want your pity when you've made it extremely clear that you don't like me Jeongin. You've been rubbing the fact that he doesn't like me back for months. Please don't pretend as if you care about me now." He snapped and Jeongin fell silent.
"I'm gonna go wash up before my next class," Felix said, leaving the two behind without giving either of them a chance to say a word.
"Are you okay?" Chan asked even though he was quite aware that Jeognin was sort of the one in the wrong for the situation.
Emphasizing that to him wasn't going to help anything. Especially considering the fact that he had gone silent which over the years he had learned meant that his brain was all over the place.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Jeongin asked quietly.
"Hey," Chan said, holding onto the back of his neck to get Jeongin to look at him and frowned when he saw tears gathering in his eyes, threatening to fall at any moment.
"What?"
"You don't have to hide all the bad emotions from me. I know you're used to doing this but- I wanna know when you're upset about something so I can help you."
"Wow, look at us," Jeongin forced out a laugh, "going from no communication at all to this."
"Right now it's only me."
"How can I make it up to Felix?" He asked, moving his hand to wipe underneath his eyes.
"I think it's best if you stay out of his love life, to be honest. But you could start being his friend again."
"I don't think he's going to want to talk to me."
"Just be persistent. Like he's been with you," Chan explained and pressed a kiss onto his forehead.
"Okay."

one person= one vote...some of you really just made life difficult for me but Seunglix and Hyunbin won...i'll probably try to include their entire storyline in one super long chapter so that people who don't like the ship don't have to read it if they don't want to </3
