"Did the plan work?" Felix asked as he ran up to Chan the next day during their lunch break with Seungmin following behind him.
"No, we broke up, if I can even consider that a breakup," he explained.
"Wait what do you mean?" Seungmin asked with a frown once he realized that Jeongin most likely didn't end up talking to him.
"I called Felix's friend to try and make him jealous but he didn't seem to care much. He kissed me once we hung up but then said that we should probably end things."
"Why would you do both plans at the same time?" Seungmin questioned with a sigh.
"Wait you actually talked to him?" Chan asked with wide eyes.
"I don't have the mental strength to help either of you anymore."
"Seungmin! What did he say?" Felix practically yelled.
"What did who say?" Jeongin asked as he approached the group.
"Why are you here? You never choose to hang out with all of us anymore?" Felix asked, hating how he managed to have the worst timing ever.
"I can't find Jisung, Changbin, or Huunjin," he shrugged and leaned his head onto Seungmin's shoulder. "What are you guys talking about?"
"Why are you- you refuse to even hug me," Felix pouted.
"I'm tired. Leave me alone. Seungmin isn't as annoying as you."
"Seungmin is more annoying than me. You better not make him your next boyfriend or whatever the heck you're calling it."
"Why not? Because you want him to be yours instead?" He asked and they all froze for a few awkward seconds.
Seungmin finally broke it once he let out a small laugh. It loosened the atmosphere a bit but then he took another moment to think about how he should respond.
They all sort of knew that Felix had a crush on Seungmin but none of them ever dared to address it because it was obvious that his feelings weren't reciprocated.
"Well, anyways," Seungmin cleared his throat awkwardly and glared at Jeognin who glared back. He knew that they were referring to Seungmin talking to him when he first got there. He didn't know what exactly they meant but regardless of why they cared, he was annoyed that Seungmin had only talked to him because Chan and Felix told him to.
"Did you tell them how things went with Christian?" Jeongin asked, subtly changing the subject once he realized how uncomfortable he had made the atmosphere.
"Oh umm- I might visit him during break," Chan said despite that the other two knew that it was a lie.
"Oh- wait we should all go. Minnie and Jeongin have never been there. It would be fun to show them around too."
Chan's eyes widened at the mention of it. He had always wanted Jeongin to go there with him because there was so much stuff he wanted to show him and do with him but it usually never worked out due to the younger having family things over the summer.
"That would be fun," he replied and looked over at Jeongin, desperately hoping that he would agree. Even if there was no hope in ever getting into an actual relationship with him, it was something that he had always wanted to do.
"Wouldn't that ruin the whole point?" Jeognin asked and Chan shook his head no, walked over to him then moved his face perhaps a bit closer than he should have before he spoke, "No, I've always wanted you to visit Australia with me."
"But the whole point of you going is so you can finally date your crush. I would just waste your time if I went," Jeongin explained and everyone there, other than himself, let out a sigh.
"No, you wouldn't," Chan reassured. "A week is enough time to hang out with both of you. Besides, I don't think I would actually get to hang out with Christian that much. Our breaks are at different times and he has work."
"I guess I could go but could I invite Changbin, Hyunjin, Jisung, and probably naturally Jisung's boyfriend too so I have people to hang out with when you're busy?" He questioned, sending a quick wink towards Seungmin who slightly blushed at the suggestion.
"Hey! Seungmin and I are gonna he there too. None of them are even going to know how to get around or what to do there," Felix pouted.
"Hyunjin knows English," he shrugged.
"I don't think it's a bad thing to invite a larger group of people," Seungmin added.
"I mean...as long as everyone pays for their tickets, I guess that's fine," Chan replied though he didn't particularly like his other friends upon the first introduction.
Seungmin knew that the bell was going to ring any seconds now and he wanted to give Chan some sort of sign that he shouldn't entirely give up on his crush on Jeongin. He gently shoved him closer to the younger, "Innie you have something on your face."
Chan looked back at him with wide eyes to which Seungmin nodded, then motioned him to do something.
"Why are you making Chan do it?"
"Because you would kill me if I did," he explained.
It seemed to click in Chan's brain, what Seungmin was trying to imply. He wasn't entirely sure but he knew Seungmin wouldn't still be pushing it if Jeongin told him there was absolutely no chance.
He moved a hand to the side of his face and moved his face way closer to Jeongin's than necessary.
The blue haired boy's face flushed pink as Chan rubbed his finger right underneath his lip. He slowly inched even closer, their lips nearly touching before he moved away.
"Forgot that I can't do that anymore, sorry," he laughed and Jeongin immediately directed his eyes to the floor so his friends hopefully wouldn't see how much he was blushing.
"I'm gonna go now. Bye," he said in a rush and spread walk away.
