"So you're moving back to LA at the end of the school year?" Eddie said once I explained the situation. Nodding cautiously fiddling with some thread from my tee shirt Eddie didn't say anything for a moment.

"That's what the plan was from the beginning of the year which was why I was planning on not making friends and here I am with a boyfriend." Chuckled to myself thinking how everything would have been so different if this didn't happen.

"And why not tell me sooner?" I sucked in a breath biting my lip.

"I'm not sure. Maybe because I thought you'd break things off or I was in denial of moving back." Eddie touched my knee bringing me out of a rant that was about to begin.

"Babe I don't think I can stay here anyway. You sure your mum would be fine with..." He gestured between us and I laughed nodding.

"She knows about you but maybe leave the drug dealing out of it." Mum was already driving down, but it's a fair distance so we wouldn't be seeing her here for a few more days.

"Of course." There was a knock on the door and Eddie suddenly ducked down. It must have been Steve to pick up Dustin to head out for the day. Dustin swung open the front door as I came back downstairs.

"Hey, not a scratch on you," Steve said giving Dustin a bear hug.

"(y/n) and I saved Eddie's ass big time." Dustin grinned with a nod as I stood next to him. "And I shot a gun." I hit his shoulder as Steve's mouth went agape.

"A gun? You gave Dustin a gun?"

"You gave them spears to defend against hundreds of demon bats. Of course, I gave Dustin a gun. I trust him more than Eddie."

"I heard that!" A shout from upstairs was heard and I rolled my eyes.

"We've got to go, got a bunch of stuff to donate." Steve started walking off Dustin and I hugged tightly for a moment before he went off with Steve. while I stayed on the steps to the house. "Oh uh if you wanted you two could help Nance and the others with fixing up a house for eleven."

"The girl with powers?" He nodded while Dustin got in the car.

"Go down maple and when seeing a huge oak tree turn down there." They drove off and before I could turn around Eddie was behind me kissing the back of my neck.

"I think maybe we should help the others," I whispered turning around to see a smirking Eddie while he wrapped both arms around my waist.

"And I think we should have some alone time. That little curly-haired monster didn't give us any alone time in the two long days he was here." I rolled my eyes giggling.

"What about the shower?"

"Besides that."

"Or last night?" He chuckled peppering kisses along my neck.

"And that."

"You shouldn't be straining yourself so much ok, you can relax here or join me with helping out a super-powered girl with a house." He hummed making up his mind pretty quickly.

The drive was quiet since I told Eddie to stay down in the back seat while I drove us down the main roads. But once going into the forest his head popped up next to me.

"Is there really anything out here or are we walking into a trap."

"Steve wants us to get caught? Really that's your first thought?" Eddie shrugged while I laughed when spotting the cabin with a black parked car in the way. A woman stood in front of it. And when getting out the woman looked at us but mostly Eddie.

"Eddie Munson I'm guessing." She extended her hand which Eddie glanced at me while they shook hands. "We've cleared your name for you. Sorted it out with victor Creel, he took the fall once again. The police know as do the public although I doubt they'll forget your name any time soon. Which is why. She handed him papers, documents."

"Are these?"

"Graduation papers Mr Munson and some money to get you started away from this town." Eddies hands shook where he stood suddenly letting out a cry of joy jumping over to me for a bone-crushing hug.

"Thank you thank you thank you!" Laughing with him I noticed her already leaving in the car before he could say anything more. He gave me a harsh kiss leaning into me, I almost thought he would cry.

"Who's that?" I whispered pointing over to an older-looking gentleman with a shaved head.

"Hopper? The chief cop I thought was dead?"

"Doesn't look dead to me." His eyes court ours as the group next to him were hugging. Apparently, I know almost no one here.

"Eddie Munson. Got yourself into more trouble I see." Eddie chuckled while they shook hands for a moment.

"Not as much as you. Everyone thought you were dead."

Mum came sprinting out of Aunty Claudia's house when spotting me getting out of the car.

"(y/n) thank God!" She gave me a tight hug tearing up on my shoulder.

"I'm ok mum like I promised over the phone." She sniffed and the other side of the car opened and shut. She looked up and gasped lightly.

"Isn't that the boy on the TV? The one who?" I shook my head sighing.

"No, he was framed by the killer. It's the boy I was telling you about the one...."

"The one you want to come with us to LA?" I gasped turning back to Eddie who didn't know my plan with mum for him to live with us.

"What was that?" He grinned ear to ear and I bit my lip. "Sounds tempting. I'm Eddie by the way. Eddie Munson." They shook hands and mum relaxed finally.
Maybe things would get back to normal, along with a few more solid nights of sleep.
