"You?" Pietro said, with surprise.

"You." Tony said threateningly.

"You!" Nat said, on edge.

"Me," Star said. "But no, actually, you should be looking for her." She said, gesturing to Liv.

Loki immediately lunged for Liv's throat, but Thor held him back right before Loki could reach her.

"Whoa there, loverboy. Metal man, why are you here?"

"Your poison killed one of our friends. You sold it to HYDRA, and they killed her."

The two girls looked at each other, then laughed.

"Why are you laughing!" Cap shouted.

"Because she's not dead, you idiots."

"You see, we have this deal."

"If you tell us what you're going to do with our poison, you get a twenty-five percent off discount."

"So HYDRA just told you that they were going to murder one of the Avengers?" Cap said, skeptically.

"No, but with a bit of persuasion....the envoys crack."

Tony's eyes widened.

"Not that kind of persuasion!" Liv said, looking at Tony.

"You are gross, metal man," Star added. "You would be surprised at how many undercover agents would trade information for our poison and food."

"My food," Liv added.

"How is she not dead, I saw her die right in front of me!" Loki shouted.

"One, don't interrupt us."

"Two, your girlfriend came into our shop, and we just so happened to like her. We don't kill the people we like."

"The poison I made puts the consumer in a coma-like state. It slows the heart rate to only a few beats per hour and conserves oxygen so fewer breaths are needed."

"We had to put her into a near-death state for HYDRA to think that they had succeeded. Though it seems you figured it was our product because some idiot left the tag on."

"Ah yes, our signature card made of pressed deadly nightshade. Offers a slow but slightly less painless death if you get caught."

Star clapped her hands together and said, "Now that that issue is cleared up, please leave. We have to prepare for the consequences of HYDRA figuring out we double-crossed them. Though it is only fair because the idiots left the card on the poison."

"What do you mean by 'double-cross'?" Tony asked.

"Well, that poison was supposed to kill your friend. By killing the healer, it would be easier to defeat you." Liv responded.

"And I told them a hundred percent of people who drink it die." Star snickered. "It's the truth, after all, everyone dies eventually."

The conversation ended when Tony's phone rang and Vision popped up.

"Stark, her heart just beat, you need to be back."

"She should be fine in a few days."

The Avengers slowly trickled out, and Pietro lingered, before leaving as well.

"Guys, I'm fine," you reassured them.

Since you woke up, everyone hugged you and asked if you were ok. Then they nagged you about your health and being more careful. Loki was behind you the entire time, arms draped over your shoulders in a protective hug, and his head resting on your shoulder. Not that you minded.
