You were sitting in a section of your garden, reading a book from the library. It was about reincarnation. You had found it in the special room and were intrigued. The book mentioned a way to stop or halt the process. Something called a tether-

"Y/n! Y/n y/n y/n y/n y/n!" Wanda entered while squealing.

"What?" You said, startled.

"Vision asked me out!"

"The toaster? Really?"

"That's mean, and yes he asked to hang out."

"Ask out and hang out are two entirely different things, Wanda."

"We're getting one step closer at least!"

"That's so exciting! What are you doing?"

"We're going to watch a rom-com. And maybe another sitcom."

"Can I join?"

"Sure, bring Loki, it'll be a double date." She said winking. She floated away before you could protest.

~~~
"It's not a double date, Wanda." You and Wanda had left the boys in the room to get snacks, and were currently walking down a long hallway.
"Stop being so negative!"
"We're third and fourth wheeling." You said, walking ahead of her.
"Denial." Wanda whispered in a sing-song voice.
"I HEARD THAT."
~~~

"What are we watching?" Vision asked.

"A rom-com. It's called 'Find Me Through Time.'"

"What's a rom-com?" Loki questioned, while awkwardly standing as if he didn't know what to do.

"It's a romantic comedy." You said walking over. You dragged him to where you were sitting and pulled him down. You walked off, grabbed a pillow, and threw it at his face. He caught it, and raised an eyebrow at you. You laughed, grabbed your own pillow, and sat down. You caught Wanda and Vision staring at you two while eating popcorn. Well, Wanda was eating popcorn. "What?"

"See," Wanda whispered to Vision. "This is called denial."

You rolled your eyes at her. "Just start the show."

Wanda started it, and you all watched the entire series. Your blood ran cold. You knew this series. You knew this series all too well. Wanda must have noticed how tense you were.

As soon as you finished watching, she ordered, "Boys, out. It's time for girl time." The guys left with confused looks on their faces. "That means you to Pietro. You couldn't have been any louder, could you."

Pietro emerged from under the bed, rolling his eyes. "Come on, I know you love me, sisters."

"Out." Wanda commanded, pointing to the door. Pietro sighed and left. "Also tell Nat to come over!" She yelled at him.

"Already here." Nat said, striding out of the closet.

"Nevermind!" Wanda screamed at Pietro who was grumbling loudly about being a sibling, not a servant.

Once everyone was out Wanda said, "What's wrong. Tell me."

"Nothings wrong."

"Lying is not a good look on you, Y/n. Is it Loki? We can go beat him up." Nat offered.

"Tell the truth or I invade your head." Wanda said with a soft smile.

"Ok, ok.  So, theoretically, if someone lived multiple lives and remembered every single one of them, and wrote a certain rom-com in their 18th life embodying all their hopes and dreams for the future that never happened, how would you feel?"

Wanda looked confused, and Nat took a moment to understand.

"You've lived multiple lives and remembered all of them? That's rough."

You felt an impending force inside your head. "Wanda!"

"I didn't understand!" Wanda said. "Now I do!"

"On a lighter note, have you and Loki started dating yet?"

You hit Nat in the face with a pillow. "No! We're just friends, and I don't do love."

"Why can't you? It's a natural feeling."

"One, he thinks of me as a friend. Two, I don't want to wake up in another life to realize that everyone I love is gone. It has happened many times."

"That's rough buddy."

"Does anyone want to bother Steve?" Nat asked randomly. "No one? Just me? Ok bye!"

"I'm going to find, Vis." Wanda said, after comforting you. "You can stay in here as long as you want."

"Thanks, Wanda, you're a good sister." She left and you teleported to your room.

You sank into your bed, face first in your pillows. You hadn't realized how much you missed your past friends, parents, and siblings. You crawled under your covers, pulling them over your head. You curled into a ball, shaking with silent sobs. The loneliness sank into you and settled in your bones. You couldn't get attached to anyone.  You just couldn't. You made your decision.

~~~
A/N: So....Uhm, a cup on loneliness anyone? Sorry for such a gloomy chapter. I'll try to get the next one out by tomorrow.
