"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are, we'll be riding into heavy fire. And that's what we signed up for. But the people of Sokovia, they didn't." Cap begins to say.
"Hold up, there was a signup sheet?" You blurt out.
Cap glares at you and continues his speech while Tony hides his laughter.

You were tasked with getting people out of town with Pietro and Wanda.
"They're not going to take you seriously. You may be twenty-six but you look like your sixteen. Take the gun. They'll believe you if you take the gun. Promise me." You and Pietro were arguing about whether he should take the gun into the police station so the officers would take him seriously.
"I'll look stupid. And might get arrested."
"Stop arguing with me and do it. Or do it your way. Don't get mad when I say 'I told you so'."
"Fine." He was clearly mad at you because his accent got thicker. He ran into the station. And then came right back out grabbed the gun from you, and went back in. You smirked. He ran back out seconds later, grumbling.
"I told you so." You said in your sweetest voice.
"I will hit you."
"I will stab you."
"With a normal dagger?"
"With my disease dagger. You'll probably die if I didn't help you after you get stabbed."
Pietro looked shaken and you looked simply emotionless.

Pietro ran threw robots tearing them into pieces.
"Beat that."
You conjured multiple energy weapons and threw them all at once, killing fifteen robots.
Suddenly the ground started splitting. People all around you hopped to the other side or froze in fear.
"What the fuck?!? What is Thor doing down there?"
"Language." Tony said sarcastically.
"Never letting that go are you." Cap added.
"Nope."
The Ultron bots began their monologue.
"Pietro, go find Wanda. I'll finish our job the best I can."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, go."
As Pietro ran off, you gathered a group of people. We were getting higher and higher in the sky. Conjuring a portal, you waved people through to the safe side of Sokovia.
You got all the people in your area, but as you got higher in the sky, the weaker your portal became. Until it flickered out.
"Stark you worry about bringing the city back down safely. The rest of us have one job, tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt them back. You get killed, walk it off."
"You know, let's just scare the newbies why don't we, Capsicle?" You said, trying to lighten the mood and cover your excitement and terror.
You proceeded to jump into the fight.
"We are all clear here." Hawkeye said over intercom.
"We are not clear here. We are very not clear." Cap sounded like he needed a break.
"Alright coming to you."
You saw a familiar blue and silver blur. Probably Pietro going to pick up his sister. You followed him.
"Keep up old man."
Hawkeye raised his bow. Then lowered it. Then raised it up and shot it at you. You caught it, right before it hit you. You looked at it.
"Y'know, I was going to ask if you needed a lift." You said smirking.
"Sorry, I thought you were one of them."
"Here, hold on to me. This might be awkward."
Grabbing your air daggers, you flew over to where Cap was. You dropped the archer off, and flew over to where Wanda was holding off bots.
"Hold your fire!" The police chief said as you and Wanda cleared out the bots together. One officer wasn't quick enough, and a bullet skimmed Pietro. You snickered before quickly healing him.

Moods were getting dark. Stark had announced that we die up here or down there.
"You can't conjure a portal?!?" Cap asked.
"No! Even I have my limits. If I was a normal sorceress yes, but my other powers limit my mystic arts!"
You were stressing, everyone was safely inside for now, but you felt that it was partially your fault if these people died up here.
Then the clouds parted. Hope had returned.
"This is S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Pietro questioned.
"This is what S.H.I.E.L.D. is supposed to be." Cap replied.
"This is not so bad."
A large battle ensued as the Avengers protected the core from being activated. The Ultron bots tried to leave, but some other heroes were getting rid of them. You were getting tired. Almost all your daggers that would be useful against the robots were unresponsive. You fought with all your might.

Soon all the people were on the lifeboats. Almost all. Ultron was in the Qinjet, raining fire. You saw Hawkeye and the boy. You saw the familiar blue blur. You saw the movement. You saw the shots.
"NO!" You screamed.
You ran off the lifeboat as fast as you could.
"No, no, no, no, no!"
"Bet you didn't see that coming."
Pietro collapsed as you reached him.
"No." You said firmly.
You reached out, touching the dimming, fraying thread. You pushed all you had left into it. Filling it with life.
The last thing you saw was the burst of energy and life in a blue and silver glow. Then you blacked out.

A/N: Sorry I'm posting out of schedule! I had to attend a funeral and a family reunion for most of the weekend. I wanted to get this chapter out to you guys as fast as I could though. I hope you enjoy!
