You kneeled, bowing your head. The memories were coming back fast, but this was not the time to re-live them. "Thank you for the warm welcome back, Allfather."
If you were to have imagined it, you would have seen a small fear dissipate in Odin's eyes.
"You may rise," Odin said, with an approving nod. "I would like to inform you of your welcoming and celebratory banquet that will take place tonight. That is all, you are dismissed."
Bowing again, you left, with Loki fast on your heels.
"What in the nine realms was that!" Loki whisper-yelled at you.
You rubbed your head in pain. No way in Helheim was that going to dissipate soon. "Just give me time to think. From what I gather, I was friends with the royal family, did something to upset them, got spelled into forgetting everything, was banished, and I can already tell this is going to be a long, long day."
Loki handed you some tea and Advil. "Here, have this. Your ache should leave soon."
"Why is the answer to any medical issue tea?" You ask, sipping it. "Like seriously, are there no other beverage options?"
"I gave you Advil too,"
"Yeah, yeah." You said playfully, pushing him. He didn't even falter. "You couldn't have pretended I was strong for a second." You pouted.
"Oh NO! I'M MORTALLY WOUNDED! I think I might die! The strength of the lady was too much. I think- I think I might just-" Loki then purposefully fainted into you, toppling both of you to the ground in the process.
A passing handmaiden gave you both strange looks.
"Get off! GET OFF ME YOU OAF!" You shrieked in delight. "You're heavy. Get off."
He stood up and acted wounded. "Me, heavy? That'll be Your Royal Highness of the Great High Asgardians, Head of Advisors to you, Lady Y/n. No more of this 'oaf' nonsense, save that for my brother." He started to walk away.
You smiled. He stopped, and you smiled wider.
"What are you smiling about?"
You didn't reply and it started to rain. Hard.
"Well that's weird, we've never had anything but a sunny day here in Asgard because my brother controls the weather."
Your smile widened.
"And he never makes the weather unhappy unless he's unhappy."
You stood there, smiling like a maniac.
"And he was due to return until-"
"Until today." You added.
"Y/n. What did you do."
"Weeeeeelll. I might have stolen all his welcome-back pop-tarts and hidden them....in your room. I estimate it'll take him at least three hours before he finds them. One for sulking, and two for searching."
Loki looked absolutely stricken. "And when he finds them-" Loki started to look even more horrified.
"He'll come running to attack you."
"Y/N! GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW." He yelled, chasing you down the halls.
The handmaiden now looked terrified beyond belief.

You laughed, running into the rain and spinning around like a madwoman. You had run to the garden's paved pathway and were now sprinting to the roofed, glass gazebo. You had almost reached it when Loki caught up to you and grabbed your arm.
