i believe you

(This is a part 2 to Finding Eddie)

Everyone sighs a heavy sigh of relief as Eddie lets go of Steve. Steve walks away while breathing heavily and Eddie backs himself into the wall and I slowly walk over to him. He looks straight, like he had lost his mind. He looks psychotic, it is a little scary.

"Eddie, we just want to talk."

He slides down the wall and I sit across from him.

"Eddie, I believe you. I was with you that night, remember? We watched that movie and fell asleep."

"We want to know why you ran," Robin says and I put my hand on his to comfort him.

He takes a deep breath, "after I dropped (Y/n) home, I started driving down the road to a gas station to get a beer. While I was there, I heard cops go down the road and a lot of them. So, I paid and drove back to see what was going on, but they stopped me. Some kids in the school saw me and said it was probably me. They said I was the school freak and wanted to murder Chrissy, but I didn't. I didn't even talk to Chrissy; I knew nothing about her. So, then people started staring at me and whispering, so I ran. I didn't know what to do so, I ran away."

His voice is shaky, and he is crying a little, "you all think I'm stupid now."

"No, Eddie, we don't think that" he starts to get mad and freaks out saying that we aren't bullshitting him and lying.

Max shakes her head, "we aren't bullshitting you."

We say we all believe him, and he just laughs. Dustin moves forward a little and sighs.

"Look what I am about to tell you may be a little difficult to take. You know how people say Hawkins is cursed? They're not way off. There is another world, a world hidden beneath Hawkins. Sometimes it bleeds into ours."

Eddie looks up at us confused, "you mean like ghosts and shit?"

"There are some things, worse than ghosts," Max says and looks at Eddie while he has a confused look on his face.

Dustin nods and starts again, "these monsters, from this other world, we thought they were gone, but they have come back before and that's why we needed to find you."

"Eddie, people think that you are one of the Hawkins monsters," I say, and he stares at me in disbelief.

They look at me and Dustin starts to think, "(Y/n), when you found her, were there any particles and dust."

I shake my head, "it was normal it looked like she had been put under a spell or a curse."

I look at Dustin and he sits up, "Vecna's curse."

Eddie sits up a bit more and I stare at him shocked.

"Who's Vecna," Steve asks and I look over at Steve.

"An undead creature of great power. A spell caster. A dark wizard."

They all look at me and I stand up, "Its him. Its Vecna."
